Thought GTplanet was populated by GT fans, this thread is worse than some of the review threads out there, I think GT6 is awesome, standards have been polished, car content is just huge with some fantastic new additions, massive track list, the new tracks look and drive fabulous, everything is better with new content on the way and I think we will get the new content because they stated all of the new features on the official site. I'm loving it : )
I'm happy for you.

Well, I have to be honest the B license races are pretty easy but then you would expect that, I think the game has been made with the novice in mind but i'm sure there will be a learning curve and as you progress further into the game it will get steadily more challenging which has been the case with every GT to be fair.

Guys seriously this is just the beginning I am sure there will be updates that will fix any current problems while at the same time creating new ones for us all to moan and groan about. Much like most of you guys I have played every Gran Turismo game they made and I fell in love with the series and I personally love GT6 for a couple of reasons. One being just what TA462 said in his post they gave us a 78 Trans Am Thats The freaking Bandits car Hell yeah and lets not forget Leno's 1966 Toronado or the 1970 AAR Cuda! Another reason is we are finally able to tear into the setup on the new 2014 Stingray been wanting to do that ever since the Nurburgring stingray time trail seasonal event back in December of 2012.

I know everyone is just venting their frustrations and I don't blame you but come on guys just be thankful that you were able to purchase the game when there are so many out there who can't now and most likely never will.https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/members/ta462.249348/

I would love the return of qualifying though, hope its added in an update.

I also don't appreciate the starting in last ("chase the rabbit") configuration of most GT6 races so far.

I see many other similarities to GT5 that could have been improved. But this is the game we have and I think it's good. I'm just enjoying it for what it's worth, not bitching too much about what could have been done better.

I am also surprised that there are no Fox-body Mustangs. Disappointing. Are those considered "vintage"?

Anything over 20 years old is considered a classic, I believe. I certainly think there were far better choices than a boat that can't even get out of it's own way. Face it; Kaz does not like American cars, no matter what he said about the new Corvette. Personally, I am looking forward to a 2015 Mustang DLC...

Huh?

I'm with you @kdryan , my copy of GT6 is currently sitting in a drawer for the next month or so, as more bugs/issues are found, while PD 'sits on their laurels' not listening to consumer feedback while holding-out on desired content. I'm not going to waste time with GT65.5 when GT5 runs & plays better at this time.

I strongly agree with it being GT5.5, and that the fanboys are quick to put their BS-blockers on, and slow to come to grips with another botched-launch, I'm giving it one last chance with the upcoming Dec./Jan. updates, but if that still leaves things unfinished, then things really won't look good for GT or PD.

Who pays full price for a game and puts it in a drawer? You may as well have waited until shops started discounting it.

TS is not nitpicking. He is on point IMO. The game is just not good. Just like GT5 wasn't a good game. The only reason I still toil on these forums is because it's irritating to watch a series that was once great tumble into the depths while it's "fanbase" enables the individuals that are the cause of this current trend of mediocrity.

I did with Resident Evil 6. It's inevitable that any series of games will get tired after a while, I think...
