Mr Latte
Well I'm in the bath on the iPhone, wot do I get?

Caz, I've given out 5-6 premiums this year so far. Will pick couple more in Dec I reckon...
Tis the season to be jolly n all that.

Didnt think youd give up a delicious cookie ;)

Here's a cookie, something about the CSRE and CSW, theirs a clue about something new with the CSRE pedals that nobody has yet picked up on.

I've been laughing for over two weeks how nobody has noticed or questioned.

Now let me enjoy my bubbles.... lol.

Ok...I'll bite...what's up with the pedals?

No handbrake socket on the pedal PCB, handbrake ( when available, Thomas ? )plugs directly into both wheels ?

Richvw
Woh woh woh, it's IRN BRU
What's this Iron Bru you talk of, a cheap Irish imitation maybe :)

Coca Cola is the most sold beverage in every country in the world except for one :)

Atleast that was what a bartender at a scottish bar in spain told med when i was there :)

Tastes very good but i can't help feeling it's coca cola mixed with Fanta :)

So the handbrake will only be compatible with the ClubSport base (thus CSR Elite or CSW)? People with a CSR that want it might start selling their wheels now. lol

At above, can we leave the wiskey out of the jar? Eh in the jar. lol

A handbrake? thats it? I thought it would be something interesting or useful like a pop out beer holder, or ashtray. Let me know when the clubsport shifter news starts coming out.

I don't know if it's a handbrake. lol
Why do you want your beer to be hooked up to your steering wheel. I see accidents happening already.

Latest news is that Thomas will be taking some samples home with him from China. Hopefully he is willing to share some more info when he gets back. 👍

Does anyone have info about the alternate wheels that can be used with the CSRE? I heard rumors of a f1 replica? Will the BMW wheel fit, or the Clubsport f1? I'd like to get a CSRE base, but I don't care for the wheel, and on the Fanatec website it says there will be a limited variety of wheels you can interchange with it, anybody have any clues as to whether we'll be able to use the same wheels as the CSW just without the quick release?

The wheels for the CSW will definitely not fit, since the systems of attaching the wheel to the base are completely different.
So this means there will be no F1 rim like on the CSW, no Formula rim like on the CSW and also no BMW GT rim like on the CSW.
What will be available in the future is still unknown, but Thomas said there will be. So let's hope what he says when he answers the questions. ;)

Thomas said it will be based on demand, and I believe there will be a lot of demand for F1 wheel which I think will be the same as the one on CSW with different connection and a larger GT rim which btw doesn't have to be BMW GT rim, I won't mind even if it is TATA as long as it will have the features of a large GT rim :)

It's nothing to do with the handbrake. :)

Though that situation is another matter and Im already awaiting confirmation on what is going on their. The comparison chart clearly list it as compatible with CSRE pedals.

Give us a hint then :)

It is not in a picture posted...

Owners of the CSRE Pedals should be able to find it, if they look closely and pay attention!
I havnt read of any reviews on the pedals that has mentioned or questioned what this is.
So it seems they never noticed it neither.

Is it bad for CSP, is it bad for the CSRE Pedals or is it good? I start to worry now as I have just ordered the CSP :)

NO it is nothing to worry about friend....

It is a clue to something about the new wheels that I dont think has been shown yet. Im not going to say what it is. Im sure ISR will probably cover it in the review.

*On reflection maybe it was different for me as I didnt get retail boxed set, mmmm.
Maybe need to consider that element and perhaps the clue isnt with the retail pedals at all.

So apologies if this is the case...

I know what you are talking about if it is about the wheel. The CSR Elite on your photos has an angled mount underneath but the retail version of it doesn't from what I saw in the specs.

No guys....

Maybe best to forget it as the "clue" perhaps is shipped with the retail wheels and not the CSRE pedals.

It is nothing major or to worry about but involves one of many improvement factors with the new wheel chassis.

I'll leave this aside until my wheel shows up then :)
