I prefer LogiForce's vision of a wall mounted quick release hub. That would be bad ass cool and look very slick.

Cost a lot more!

Until we see the idea we cannot judge but I'm sure many people could 'make do'

How about a flight case like the ones used for guitars, with appropriate wheel shapes cut out inside etc...

Could be individual cases for each wheel rim or the size of a guitar case to fit multiple wheel rims inside....

Got to keep 'em nice and safe...;)

Sounds good but even that you can easily make yourself. There are a lot of shops that sell the stuff needed to make a flight case. Then put some foam in it and maybe a soft fabric layer on top and you are done. :)

Maybe you could make a flight case with a transparent top?

This is kind of what I hoped the packaging would be like

Table top stands would be nice. Similar to the stands used to charge the ps3 controllers
Have the wheels on a shelf similar to a trophy shelf.

Odd: we are more exited for storage options for csw rims than the csw itself.

Anyone else have the Joytech Williams F1 wheel on the PS2? I had one, that had wheel release and a stand. Was so awesome.

Also had LED rev counter and tuning screen, not unlike todays Fanatecs.

I think we've talked about almost everything other than this lol

In regards to new rims coming for the csr e

Fixed.

Hi Negative Nancy, I'm Jason, nice to meet you. :sly:

Seriously though, what were you expecting? The CSW was always intended to be the flagship wheel and Thomas said from the start that the CSR-E would get limited wheel options eventually. I don't think Fanatec will stop supporting it completely, but I wouldn't expect anything beyond the Formula and GT wheel, and that will probably be a few months away at least.

In completely unrelated news, I got my CSR-E pedals in today, so I can use my CSR-E wheel I've been drooling at for two weeks. Just had to tell somebody, my girlfriend is throughly unimpressed :)

Women with interest in racing are a rare bread I think. Especially sim racing.

And about earlier, totally forgot to reply but I will just say... you got me there. ;)

off topic:
my girlfriend likes motorsport, but I think I helped out a bit. She watches F1 and goes with me to the WRC in Germany.
About my racing rig: she would really like it a lot smaller or even not there :nervous: and instead a new closet (I would need more place, too)

I recently got my CSPs and after a while 4 point harness (yyiiihhaaa!!)…what she said?=>”men…”

About the CSW: I’m honestly thankful for the launch delay. Money is currently not there and she has nothing against it, but we have to focus in other investments at the moment.
Me CSW buy now->me dead simer :scared:

I had to google that :)

I never ever tell my wife about the cost of my sim racing hardware. I'm lucky enought that i have enough budget buy stuff, although with all recent purchases the well is drying up.

I'm sonsidering, since i sell BMW, to buy the CSW as a business expense.

This would save me (in the netherlands) 19% tax.

I think that if you present properly the sim-racing and racing in general women will like it, not love it but at least won't think it is a useless money sucking hobby that also occupies a lot of space in the house :)

One of the first thing I did was the movies about racing that we watched together. Here I have previously posted the greatest racing movies of all times.

Senna was the one she liked a lot and she even dropped a few tears.

After that I have asked her if she wanted to drive her car in the game and she agreed and was driving for almost 2 hours non-stop :)

No we watch F1 together from time to time and she approves my hobby with some financial limitations as expected :)

So one cannot not like something that he/she has never experienced and in order for them to like the need someone who can present it properly. I as salesman/businessman have this a number one rule ;)

Customer service didn't even make the top 5.

Where's your review BTW. Have I missed it?
