I was really digging this tune first time I heard it and at 7:28 into the video
it instantly became one of my favorite psychedelic trips. I immediately recognised
the monologue spoken by the woman but couldn't remember from where.
When I realised it was from Waking Life, one of my all-time favorite films, I was pretty
pleased having found this artist calling himself Hinkstep (a fellow countryman as well).

*warning: I think I saw boobs in this Video.*

Also, the Video is very distracting. I would recommend just scrolling it off the screen.

Also, I have got no idea what this song is about. I am pretty sure it is in English, but I can't understand a word the guy is saying.

But it is great ear candy.

I noticed a theme in one of my playlists that these tracks all have in common, namely spooky/scary hospital songs.

They're my favorite right now.

Similar to what I posted above I put the word 'sword' into the search bar
in my WMP archive and it came back with five results...

Argus.

I was born the month it was released.

I'm not sure I'd call it a favorite, or even current favorite, but I've been listening to Violent Femmes' American Music an awful lot lately because it's been stuck in my head and I'd like to move on from it. Great song, but it does grow tiresome day-in-day-out.

this is no ordinary soul
that you're destroying
just another life
that drifts along with the sands of time
we tried to show you on your way
but still
you cannot see
you're hurting me
you told too many lies
and so it ends, yeah

you tried to touch me
but then I knew your plan
you tried to take my world away, oh no
now I see it
it's as clear as day
no you'll never stand a chance
oh no you'll never stand a chance

you tried to lead me
to the land where you keep your lies
but I've seen this road before, oh yeah
there is no reason why I should listen now
no you'll never stand a chance
oh no you'll never stand a chance

so many people tried before
but still I came through
stronger than before
someone like you could never get through my door
no more

nothing you can do will hurt me
I am indestructible
nothing you can do will hurt me
I am indestructible
yeah

every lie that you tell you get closer
closer to the edge of my cauldron
and in to the fire, yeah
every life you destroy will return
and will come back and haunt you
for ever and ever

nothing you can do will hurt me
I am indestructible
nothing you can do will hurt me
I am indestructible
yeah

this is no ordinary soul
that you're destroying
just another life
that drifts along with the sands of time

Call me a nut, I lived under a cobblestone probably, but today I discovered music from Chris Rea, yes that guy who's still underway to his house for Christmas. And I wished I discovered earlier.. it's a kind of country, Americana, blues ?!

I don't know what it is, I don't care really but I like it. Whatever the genre is

Oh, and back to his Christmas song, he made another track about that roadtrip, with another perspective :D
