After getting some sleep (wasted last night) and watching the replay I've decided that D-Unexpected's cornering was satisfactory. He would run wide from time to time in the final turn, but his lap times didn't vary whether he did it or not. (1:14.5s staying on the track off the runoff).
The only corner cutting I dont like is the chicanes (driving on the grass and cutting them completely). It not okay to do that at Monza for example. The Nurburgring has some chicanes that are cut able and I'll be watching there. The FIA is strict when it comes to corner cutting because those runoff areas they have are for safety, not to race on. These runoff's are from the mid 90's post Senna era.
We will use "Gran Turismo rules" on cornering. The green concrete/astro turf sections will be fair game. The grass, and other areas that would penalize you in practice mode will be punishable.
Reventon is mentally ill. He has a narcissistic injury being beaten by D-unexpected all the time, he creates a false since of omnipotence by pretending D- is a huge cheater (using Auto, ABS, etc). D-unexpected used manual trans. Some in the series have trouble driving without ABS and so I let them use a setting of 1. This is very very reasonable.
Reventon10 has created nothing but trouble for this and other online F1 series of the past ( the one hosted by mr monster). I cant deal with him anymore, his mouth is too big. He bites more than he can swallow. The "rinse and repeat" thing is complete BS, "rubbish". I was driving the same style every lap in the F10 with no driving aids and a manual (finished 2nd). Does that make me a "rinse and repeater". Hell, I do that in the Super GT series as well. It must be that my Super GT car drives like the X1.
Real racing is not the same as a video game. You experience G forces and your car could be a lot slower than the fastest guys. Your under the whim of luck, and hell, its a sport like any other. If your a pencil neck you wouldn't make 5 laps in one of these cars. In order to race for real, you need to be a decent person, not a total dick. An a$$hole would not get a sponsor to let him race Formula 3. (costs around $400,000 for 1 summer now days.)
Look at how terrible the visibility is in a real F1 car. Alot different from the roof cams that almost everybody uses.
Those who didnt show up, will be given the opportunity to each week. The races will be in my lounge, or Golfer's. D-unexpected will be on my friend's list (golfer add him if he's not on.) The public lobbies are out because the randoms are inappropriate. New rules on race conduct will be applied. These will have to do with your words rather than actions. I cant have people constantly harassing the hosts.
that's the top of the helmet , completely wrong - dreaming.

I am not offensive about you Richard S
Im just saying you cant even follow your own rule and that is true.
you said allow d-unexpected who wasn't signed but thats okay because it wasn't a full grid but he was with AT the whole race and you knew that because he suddenly said he was using "controller" which he wasn't but even so he did not meet regulations because I know him more than you obviously and he knows me more than you as well.
Im not criticizing your thread or event , im just saying the truth about you not going by the book or just your book alone.
ie: after you watched the replay , you were not bothered considering the wide cuts every lap he did and that disappointed me because 1st of all he used manual then after the race you go by no book after watching the replay.
and ie: in your race in Suzuka I came in the room , you guys were already racing. You broke your own rule , Everybody was without ABS and you had ABS 3 which you had set on your wheel , you just keep braking your own rule.
Do you know why I was disappointed about the wide corner cutting because actually in real Formula 1 you will be getting a drive through penalty for each of those and even minus 10 seconds on your finish each , not for all but each.
And I never said he was a cheat but you can call him one because its true , but its your responsibility to go by the book.
The thing is if you put him on an F10 what do you think can he do?? even with AT , ABS , instruments , or hood view.
What can he do in it?
and even so our laps are the same around Suzuka even if he has the advantage of going faster on some corners and at the easiest pace.
Everyone keeps saying d-unexpected is the fastest and blah blah blah.
This is one thing people cannot understand how difficult it is to get an F10 on the limit , on the other hand you can go "over the limit" on the F2007 with the easiest pace possible.
And I dont care about it I know what I can do which is to be as quick as d-unexpected and once the no instrument / no ABS update comes we'll see what he can do.
If you want proof of this reading
Lets go to Suzuka rain , ill show you how worthless d-unexpected's F2007's "over the limit" and rinse and repeat is in the rain. completely hopeless , Even though its much easier in the rain , you will get the impression on what Im saying.
I can tell you this about the F10 , going on the limit on the F10 in the dry is just as difficult to keep pace as if it was in the rain but you will see what I mean when you get to that point.
I am a driver designed for reality not for memorizing what you do everytime.
I have no hard feelings for you and I hope you dont either.
and on the rinse and repeat but why its true
an F2007 can go over the limit even without any turbulence , likewise it can go 15-20 kmh more on Suzuka Circuit's turn 4 alone even at the easiest pace not to mention the other corners without any hint of difficulty.
you get what Im saying with "over the limit" an F2007 in reality like Kimi Raikkonen's lap in Suzuka would never do 225-230 kmh on Suzuka's turn 4 , and its not quite as rinse and repeating as in GT5's. Im only mentioning suzuka on turn 4 as an example but thats totally true.
The best lap with the best setup the F2007 can go 127 on online which as you can see will never happen because the fastest in 2007 was infact Kimi Raikkonen's 131
but in the F10 like Vettel's Red Bull car the RB6 , he did 128s considering the G-force in it but even so they couldn't do constant "on the limit" laps because they would crash , I mean in Suzuka 2010 GP before the race had even started just on practice about 3 have already crashed.
And Lewis Hamilton is one of them in Practice crash.
when the race started on the 1st corner alone 4 have already retired
and more even did throughout the race.
rinse and repeat then is true for the F2007.
You may think the F10 is a joke because you try and drive it smoothly on "fuji", go to suzuka and try doing constant 127s
lets see if you can even do a 127 , you may not even make it to 128 or 129
you see my point of "on the limit"
but in the F2007 your "over the limit" and you just keep doing the same thing with ease and thats why its rinse and repeat because you just keep doing the same thing and its "over the limit" but no harder to handle than a vacuum cleaner.
But actually im going back to abu dhabi this or pre november to experience the 5G off the F1 minardi v10 car converted to 2 seater as the passenger I would then experience the G , and I can tell you after.
Im bull necked and actually is confident about it physically , but we will see how it goes.
And ofcourse financial wise you always pay on your own , unless you have connections with big sponsors , but its never a problem for me wether its a single seater Formula BMW or even GP2.
Im not a dick im just pointing the truth , sorry if it was offensing you but theres no harrasment or whatsoever , just the truth richard.
