Neither do I. I've only seen a few Robbens, and they're all ~300k. I haven't seen a non inform Ribery or Schweinsteiger.
 
Without spending money on packs, which I am loath to do, given I've built my current teams without spending a penny, I can't see the chance of getting these teams soon. Best teams are so expensive ... and yet still beatable :sly:
 
It's slightly bothersome that by knowing how many points I have, I can with 100% accuracy predict the result of the upcoming game. Once again, EA can feel free to jump in a burning spike filled hole.

It's just frustrating. I know its not like this in Career Mode, because they're not trying to piss you off to the point where you dump money into it.

And then the servers are down. 🤬 you EA.

Any of you playing Career mode out there. Purchase a striker named Luis Muriel. He goes up to an 88 rated player and is plays better than Messi.
 
Sounds like fun. Meanwhile I'm getting beat by 1000 headers per game. I don't remember the last foot goal on me. If this weren't a moderated forum you'd see my even worse side.

Figured if you can't beat em, join em. I had my whole preliminary stage Bundesliga team set up except for one striker, so I went with Mandzukic with 80-something heading. My first game I go up 5-nil in the first half and he quits, felt good.

So far, I have Mandzukic, Diouf, Elia, Van Der Vaart, Kroos, Blaszczykowski, Fuchs, Felipe Santana, Boateng, Gebre Selassie, and Wiese.

3 games. 3 games in a row they let the other guy score in the 90' to win. I'm getting really tired of their crap.

I mean the freaking pieces of crap are setting me up to get the exact same record in the exact same order of wins and losses everytime. Maybe they wouldn't have to ban people from their site for complaining about the problem if it weren't so darn obvious.

I have him in my Serie A team as the central man. With Lamela and Gomez alongside as RF/LF, the three of them get the wins for me. Have heard many good things about him in career mode but the top for me, certainly in the long term, is Yassine Benzia. Look at his stats, from skill moves to skill attributes, then look at his age. Then think of what his attributes will look like when he gets to an 84, his max potential. He's also really, really happy. :) Small wonder I lust for him so much in bronze packs too.

I like 'x-x-2-1' formations because of the way they're set up to have three men pounding the hell out of the defence. Small wonder my three teams set up in the all three different 'x-x-2-1' formations. Though somehow 4-3-2-1 feels the less effective when I play with it, with 5-2-2-1 being the most, with 3-4-2-1 being pretty good as well so long as you have a CM that can actually defend.

Cost me another controller and several things that could be thrown in the near vicinity!!

2 defenders within arms length from the ball, oh no the keeper comes out, opposition slide tackles my keeper and kicks a goal!!

I have pretty much given up playing it, I myself am fed up with the predictability of knowing which games you are going to loose or the fact that the computer is going to score a winner/equalizer in the dying minutes.

I have not had a decent gold pack for a while now, how do EA expect you to keep coming back when the game offers no incentive itself?

As for that tournament they have up at the moment for 5000 coins, it's a joke. Not everybody that plays the game is good enough to win every game on legendary, myself included.

This is my first experience of Ultimate Team and Fifa game for a few years and going by this post you can see i'm not enjoying it.

What sucks is they will screw you round and then you think "hey I can get through this" they (EA) dangle a carrot you think "hey this is ok ok gunna make it" then WHACK!!!! You get something shoved right up the preverbal!!

GOD DAMN IT!!!

Fix it and make it where if you play food football you win!!!!
 
Been in FUT for 3hrs without being kicked, could the recent maintenance have possibly sorted my issues?

Didn't stop me getting relegated out of Div 3 Ultimate, mind. Need to find a 4-4-2 card for Defoe I think. I keep seeing Dzeko at a low price, is he any good? Going to build up a Serie A and Prem team, i think.
 
I'm not understanding why my front two strikers with 87 and 88 heading can't win one ball in the box over the course of a game, but I get by them 3 or 4 times by inferior players the same way.

Why does EA hate us? Why would they install an update to make it even more rigged? I mean what darn fool said "hmm, they're gonna love this!" :mad:

Dzeko should be rated higher. Saying that as a proud Man U fan.

Balotelli is my personal favourite PL striker but he costs 35k. One very good option is Kone, does everything you need from a player at all really. If you don't need skill, then get Kevin Mirallas instead. He was meant to be 4* (see H2H if you wanna see what I mean) but isn't. Even without them though he is still beautiful to play with. Mayuka is another top class ST but he's even more expensive than Balotelli at about 40k.

If you wanna do a position change, buy Soton's Ramirez, who is Kone with better dribbling and worse pace.

Well, the cheapest buy now on the market for Mirallas is 900 coins, so 150 is quite reasonable ... If he's 4-4-3 I bid 200 :sly:
 
Yeah, I bought the Premier League team pretty much the day before the prices crashed. I'm surprised I did so well reselling them.
 
Whenever you get a Ronaldo or Messi IF, the market will crash, in the desperate rush through packs to get them, the market becomes saturated with other players, of which the knock on effect is that everyone drops in price.

Basically, if Ronaldo or Messi have an amazing game, sell your team. Then proceed to re-buy them a week after for 80% of the price. Simple.

Can anyone explain to me how two strikers with 87 and 88 heading can not win a header for 3 games? Not one? Neither in the box or at midfield.
 
I bet they can. I'm pissed. Every game some 5'2" guy gets a hat trick on headers and I can't even get one in the right direction. Doesn't anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Do you run towards the ball before you header it?
 
I hold L2 or R1 when heading on goal. It seems to put a bit more precision into the attempt. You have to direct the attempt more to goal then you do with a shot.
 
I normally try L2, but they never even jump high enough to get to it. Some guy a foot shorter than them just magically clears it. I'm expecting a troll face to appear on one soon.

Can't decide whether to get Gotze or save up for Schweinsteiger. Opinions?

On the subject of that, I was mighty impressed when the 5'5" Insigne got a header for me today. Not sure how that happens, well I do probably know, a combination of bad chemistry for the opponent and momentum.

I played 4 games today, 1 with each team I have and another with my Eredivisie team, and Insigne was superb today in my Serie A team. Could very easily have had probably 5 goals, only got 2 in the end. Normally in my Serie A team Muriel sets the ground running then I put on Insigne in the second half but he isn't as good. But this time Insigne really shone. Still think everyone should get him at some point...

My latest 4-3-2-1 hybrid, tried them out for the first time today and they are nice. The front three I have of Elia, Arnautovic and Narsingh is literally toxic, to opponent's defences.

Bundesliga? Or German team?

If Bundesliga, buy Diego, Javi Martinez or Sven Bender instead. Maybe Gundogan.

If German, just get Sven Bender or Gundogan.
 
What the :censored:ing hell. I go up a goal in the 90', needing a win to get promoted out of freaking division 2 where I've been stuck for 5 seasons. Then EA pulls my goalie out for their kick off and they kick it right in. You could hear me down the street...

It's for Bundesliga. And I already have Van Der Vaart and Kroos, so I figured only the elite would be an improvement.
