I gotcha Hyped, and it's fun when EA doesn't intervene. My record is about 40% win, 40% loss, and 20% draw. However, lately, it has become 50% loss, 20% draw, and 30% disconnected. I haven't won a game without disconnecting in a week, which is why I'm on the current rage. I haven't played anymore today.
 
I was just winning 5-2... then my defense decided they won the game and wouldn't stop anything. Say hello to the trade pile boys...

And can someone tell me how to turn profit on contracts or players please?

IF Lewandowski. Worth all 100K that I payed for him. Maybe not worth the steep price, as the standard card is godly but, if you have the money for the IF version. It's just that little bit much better.
 
Where do you get all your coins from? Do you buy Fifa points and hope/get for something decent everytime!

I have been luckless so far, I have only bought £8 of Fifa points, and I did get Agger in that, all the others with coins the best I think I have had was Pepe and Gerrard.
 
I spent $20 on packs and probably 50k coins more and my best has been De Gea. You guys won't believe but EA has it out for me...

Let me dissect this a little...

"We don't guarantee good packs" - Yes, but you do guarantee crap packs.

"But we can guarantee you will feel excitement opening them" - How am I going to be excited when you give me crap?

I get even more of a sense that EA doesn't care and finds everyone's complaining to just be a joke.
 
Were you holding out any sort of idea that EA isn't the epitome of awful?

I wasn't kidding when I said form a petition with donation fund to get the FIFA brand to another studio. I believe my quote was a pride of lions without front paws could provide better customer support.
 
There's a fairly fundamental flaw in the idea behind packs having good players though, otherwise you could just buy a good team, and whilst on one hand you should be able to get good value for your money, it would de-value the whole FIFA ecosystem if players with money could buy a world class team that would always beat those who can't/won't pay for packs.

Ultimately, I'd try and get the best of both worlds and have better packs, but limit how often you can buy them and maybe even limit the amount of players from packs that can feature in an online team.
 
What they really need to do is provide some sort of bonus chance for those buying packs with real life money...because why waste money to put onto PSN and then get nothing of worth whatsoever for it. A point I proved yesterday where I spent 2000 FIFA points, including the 5 Premium Gold Jumbos that were available and a few other packs with leftover money. The best overall player I got was...Pastore. Who, I should state, is the most overrated player in the game (or certainly my least favourite), because he does absolutely nothing that someone with less overall, or for less money, can do better. What a bloody reward. :rolleyes:

The normal system of paying coins with it (whoever would do that anyway...) should be kept as normal.
 
Anyone got suggestions for what to save up for? My team is:

GK Cech
LB Cole
CB Vermaelen
CB Luiz
RB Maicon
LM Bale
CM Gerrard
RM Valencia
CAM Nasri
CAM Mata
ST Hernandez

The only things I can come up with are Lloris or Toure to replace Gerrard.

Maybe Tevez as a striker, he wasnt impressive as a CAM but he seems to perform as a striker..

Joe Hart and Van Persie up front. With maybe Kompany instead of Luiz, it will then be almost the same as mine!

Pretty good. Its hard to tell who's good now that I'm back in D1 because EA let's no one be good.

Is there a way I can just stay in Division 2? Its not rigged there, I was there for one season and it was divine...

Division 1 men, dare I suggest you have been coming up against teams as criminally offensive as this?

If so, then the only real way to defeat them is to make them yourselves.
 
That is so much more than 205,000.

I win 7-3 on average in D2 with no losses, and I lose 5-0 on average with no wins. Anyone else see my problem?

And it won't matter between the team I have now and that team if EA lets them have every loose ball and they just magically catch up to me when I worked for 5 yards of separation.

Yeah that team is allegedly worth 205,000 but the cheapest Silva is 198,000... I doubt Neymar has taken that much of a hit in value. Darnit C-ZETA I want it now!

Dede is in my team to counter pace teams, I generally prefer Skrtel, but online he can be left a bit. So Skrtel is offline, Dede online.

I think I may go for the team C-ZETA posted minus Silva probably with Naldo replacing him, just to see if the low rating will help.
 
I had an all Brazil team for a short while, it does not get rid of the scripting although the pace makes it a bit easier to deal with and I've had tons of it in division 2 too.

Welliton and Santana are two of the best players on the game though, way overpowered. Hulk is rubbish though, you'll be better with Maicon on 7 chem or another RM.:lol:
 
Maicon will get 9 chem in a 3-5-2 if you switch him to a RWB. I'm not sure if there are any other conditions but given that you have David Luiz or Ramires alongside him at CDM then you can very easily get him to 9 chem regardless with the extra league boost.

Yes he'll need two strong links too. If he had normal Luiz at CB that would then work. Luiz Gustavo is a great CDM for a non rare if he goes this route.
 
So you're saying Maicon is better than Hulk? The 90 pace and 60k cheaper price tag is attractive, especially seeing as IF David Luiz is so expensive. But you guys know more than me, so I'll take suggestions!

And as long as you're saying it eliminates some of the 5-0 first halves I'm all for it...

Santana, Dede, Luiz is the most over powered defence you can have I reckon. To save more money just get Robinho instead of Neymar and if you want full Brazil then Pato as the other striker.

Hulk seems way slower than his pace this year, he's an average player, Maicon is a lot better for me.

So EA lets me get one point away from relegation and then makes me lose 4 in a row. I hope they have an awful new year and every new year following.

He will get 9 chem as a rwb on console with Luiz and Ramires linking, the web app and futhead show 7 but they are wrong.:)
 
Happy New Year everyone. I was MIA and partying a little too hard lol. Just now surfaced 21 hours later lol.

Anybody purchased one of the insanely overpriced 24 rare gold players packs? I'm really tempted...

Well, don't waste your money on that pack. Best player I got was Fernando Torres, doesn't even come close to covering the cost of the pack. Typical EA.
