No, not at all. I can't get any one on one situations, they all just swarm me, and slow white guys are running down Aguero in the open field... They better fix this..

No, I am Manchester City. And I cannot score more than one goal per game, on accident. I am fuming.

haha ohh sorry. I don't know, I like it more than 2012, but again will try it tomorrow more and take a closer look

Just as an example, Kocielscny (sp?) will never catch David Silva ever. I just, urgh screw it.

This is absolutely ridiculous. I move it down to Semi-Pro, play two games, and get totally dominated with no goals. If this isn't fixed, EA will have a strongly worded letter. You don't go from winning 10-0 on semipro in 11 to getting your tail whipped.

There is a reason that it is harder to score. EA said that they made CPU defense much smarter. And this is 100% true. No more simple through balls and pacing past defenders. You are going to have to actually be creative to get new goals.

After playing it a lot last night, I am very impressed. Feels so much better than 12. The CPU looks believable as well. I always played 12 by being creative with my goals. So, I naturally don't really have a transition into the new game. I can't wait to get it even though I have to wait a long time to get my hands on it. :(

This is definitely better than 12. I like that it's harder to score, much more realistic, playing proper build up and actual tactics rather than pumping through balls or square balls across the box. Most excellent.

Also I remember the demo for 12 was very hard to score in as well.

Yes the 12 demo was harder than this demo and the actual 12 game is easier. For a demo it's quite good and if they can improve it as much as they have in the past from demo to actual release then Fifa 13 should be very good.;)

I started to get a little better at the end of last night. I just wish the defense would lay off just a tad more on Professional, just to see if I could beat people one on one.

At least on Semi Pro if a faster player makes a run, a slower player won't catch up before you have time to plan your next move. That's what I think the realism is, so I guess I'll use that .

Ok, first impressions are a definite improvement. It's harder, yes, but it's also really good. I can see how they've improved the attacking AI, which is now making decent runs. First game was a 0-0 on pro, but next one was 3-0 win, so back into the swing of things. Enjoying it immensely 👍

I've had the opposite, I've had a number of runs with players like Aguero, Tevez, Walcott, and they really really struggle to outpace their defence. And Agueros acceleration is 93, and Walcotts is 97. Only on amateur can I outpace defense, on semi pro and above the defense catch up and muscle me off the ball.

Anyone went over to the darkside and tried the PES Demo? I have and suprised to find it blows FiFa 13 out of the water in every single category! Konami seem to have nailed the physics this year, gameplay is much more realistic (really is fantastic!) whereas in FiFa 13 everything seems too fluid (maybe too easy?) and arcadey. Passing is too fast and mechanical on FiFa, tackling is like karate kicking an opponent...its smooth as butter but it just feels too unrealistic compared to PES. I hope the full game is much improved otherwise PES 2013 is definitely the way to go this year.

I thought this at first. But, the more I played PES. The more I realized how strange certain things went in the game. Like run with Ronaldo. He looks like he is taking a dump while play football. Just doesn't look right to me lol.

It certainly does. Adding the option file to get the correct kits is one of the most tedious tasks known to man, second only to removing them.

I didn't like the PES demo, running in treacle and not in a good way. I've not touched a football game since PES09, which admittedly I played a lot, but there are some fundamentals that haven't changed. FIFA looks good and the league depth is appealing, I'll try out the demo in next few days.

I only play FIFA when I am round mates and just play the stock move (hint - check my PSN username - hint). And i beat the pants off them every time... Wonder if FIFA 13 will be any different this year...

FIFA 13 just like any new FIFA is slightly more refined than the previous EA go,not a big improvement but still one,Still waiting on Santi Cazorla and surprised they haven't modeled olivier giroud .

Nice differences :Subs warming up,better impact engine (sometimes results in stupid red cards mind),new tactical freekicks and new practice moods.

Speedonator

Quick question. Do you use manual passing or aided?

I know co-op H2H is going to take all of my FIFA time, me and the bros are tired from playing each other

Its growing on me i have to say, From being what i would say a decent FiFA 12 player to struggling with this was a surprise. I think that was because i was playing it how i would FIFA 12, And with that game pace and thru balls rule so once i slowed down, Become more conservative and picked my passes things fell into place. Scored my first FK with silva, Was far from pretty though, Curled it around the wall only for the BvB keeper to palm it onto the post, Back onto his head and in. My best goal would be with aguero, Stood 30 yards out he recieves the ball from Milner, With his first touch he knocks it a few feet ahead of him so he can maintain his stride, And then lashes it into the Bottom right corner. It feels a lot more rewarding in 13 when a goal is scored. Looking forward to release now :) I always preorder with ShopTo.net I've got the last two FIFA's and F1's on the Wednesday 2 days early. Great site and i'd recommend them to anyone:tup:

Yeah, the L1 + stick dribbling mechanic works very well.

What's wrong with it? You can hide direction from friends (unless someone near you sells you out) and I like making saves on occasion.
