I use default settings IE assisted but might switch to Manual this year if theres a better feel to the game. Whats the main difference between the two settings?
Sorry for such a late reply.
It's night and day mate.
I searched operation sports for slider settings.
I managed to get the game set up nigh on perfect.
Full backs committing when they should.
Defenders holding the line and playing decent defense.
Sliders was the gem of an addition in 12.
With a decent set up you will get tense 1-nil 2-1 type games over a 15 minute match.
As for manual passing. It's the way to go if you want to test your self.
Can feel a little hard at first and can take some perseverance to crack it.
Once you have you won't go back.
Maybe try a few games but drop the difficulty level first.
There is a slider setting for manual passing response. Can't remember the actual figure off the top of my head. But basically it represents the amount of time needed to hold the pass button to vary distance of pass.
The default felt off.
The main advantage of manual is to be able to put the ball exactly where you want it.
Play to feet or space. Really opens the game up.
