Just counting down the sleeps until Thursday night when I hit the midnight launch.

Here's my plan:

I will be sleeping all day Thursday to be fully rested and then hitting the midnight launch at about 10. Then popping back to my mates to play it till about noon the next day (no sleeping). Then going home and playing my copy all Friday afternoon and night.

I've been on the web app a bit for the Ultimate Team and I've managed to conjure up 17-18K coins and am starting to build my team. I'm going with a silver Championship side and we'll see what happens from there!

How did you get any coins! Nobody seems to buy any of the players that I sell. And, is the FUT Database updated for FUT 13 yet? I noticed FUT 12 doesn't work anymore on the FUT Database.

I'm glad that their are more Japanese players to work with this time as well. I couldn't even make a full Japanese bench in 12. Honda looks like a better CAM than Kagawa despite Kagawa being ranked 2 higher than him. The stats are worse on Kagawa.

Dont know if im bothering with FUT this season. I probably will when i feel like it though. Not long now, Could be just 3 sleeps for me! :lol:
 
I've racked up a decent 8k, in the Mini Gold Rare pack I got I managed to get Kroos from Bayern and the Chelsea home kit, they went for about 5.3k combined. Planning on cashing in for a sort of Brazil-Serie A hybrid.

Of course, the big problem is that I'm doing it on a different account to my main account, because that never links up to EA's website...ever.
 
Well, lucky for you guys. I guess at release day I'll get the first pack of my preorder deal and that's it.. shoulda shelled out for FIFA 12 :lol:.

I am going to be missing out on 1 or 2 of those free packs. Luckily I'm putting 50 dollars into my PSN account for some gold packs to buy and start racking up the moneyz for Ultimate Team. I want to actually get a hold of some informs this time.
 
Because I have two accounts that I've played FUT on since September 2010, I got 2 gold packs and 2 all players packs on each account. I sold all of the players I got and kept redeeming my daily gift on each account. I also saw a few cheap buys and sold them on for a small profit.

I made 9K on one account and 8-9K on the other and will transfer the money when the game turns up.

I'm starting to pick up a few players for my nPower Championship silver team, Emnes being my latest addition with 87 pace and 4* skill should make a deadly threat up front. Picked him up for 3,100 coins.

Nice double post there ferg. If I had more time I would make more effort into the web app. And plus im going bronze and silver. No gold teams this year
 
Best player I ever acquired in 11 was Thomas Müller, so I'll be interested in getting good players this time.
 
Finally creating more and more chances and putting some away too. I like how different teams require different methods of attack against, you don't really get that in PES (or not in the versions I played anyway). Not liking throw-ins, but can't fault it beyond that.

Probably a release day buy for me.
 
Gotta study hard tonight, school tomorrow, then GameStop on the way home for pickup. If I get a few minutes to play tomorrow night I'll give first impressions.
 
I've already been thinking of a good few squads so far that I might well try to make. I'm particularly proud of this one Brasilver squad I've formed, really does cover so many departments. I've also got a relatively budget-price Serie A team (ie not mainstream), a pretty powerful Eredivisie team and even a pretty good Ireland BSG squad. I do have two accounts I'll need to use though, seeing as one has my webapp stuff but another has PSN money which I plan to spend on packs (after the GT5 DLC). Might even try and balance two career modes across the two accounts...

Nice start to your team Kamuifanboy. You've got the right idea picking up cheaper players first so you can get that 100 chemistry. It's better to have 100 chemistry and lower level players than a team with better player but in the wrong positions and formations.

In FIFA12 I had several different teams. I started off with a Championship silver side then switched to a Eredivisie silver side then I created a few bronze teams and a gold team which I only used when playing friends.

This year the Tippeleagen (sorry I can't spell) league has some really good silver players but looks quite expensive. Maybe I'll make that towards the start of 2013.
 
Today is the day! In 11, I had a pretty good Spanish gold team. Chemistry was 93, if I remember correctly.
 
Get a manager in the correct formation and make sure you have players in the right formation :) also, fiddle your team around, if you go to status it shows you how much chemistry a player is adding. Try and make as many 9 as you can or as high as you can. Players in the same league for instance, put next to each other :)

Hopefully FUT is broken for everyone, cause it is for me. So much for being early.

Got about halfway through making a team of 60-65 Liga Adelante Spaniards. Two gold packs, best player was a 77. Fail. Good fun though!

Holy moly. It is going to take awhile to get my Japanese team the way I want it.

Just to get a Right Midfielder I have to buy a Silver Right Winger who costs 20,000 because he is a pace whore with 94 pace. Then I have to pay for a 41212 and RW to RM card for him. Going to be expensive :nervous:

Not to mention I'd like to have In Form Honda as a Striker, which goes for 40k. Then switch him to a striker using a CAM to CF then CF to ST card.

Then Kagawa will be my CAM which is really expensive in the 20K range as well.

Nagatomo goes for a lot of cash as well with 88 pace.

I've never understood why people pay so much money for Pacey players. I've never used any pacey players, other than Hatem Ben Arfa who isn't even really that Pacey and I've been perfectly fine without the pace. Often winning. It's really easy to beat people that just try to use pace, I think.

I'm assuming all you guys buy packs with real money right? Because FIFA 14 will probably be out before I get 20,000 coins of expendable cash.

Yeah, but it takes forever. A gold pack is 5000 coins, and I make about 500 per game. You also have to buy contracts.
