I have sold all my gold players. Silver and bronze are the best to play with by far.
 
I like to follow the bronze and silver games closely. There are some criminally underrated <75 players both on UT and off.
 
Just bought Gerrard, though went the CAM route and then get a CAM->CM card, as I think it will work out cheaper than the 20k being asked for him as a CM. I got him for 8.9k and who knows, may just leave him as CAM and see if he works well enough like that.

Just won FUT offline Div 3, so am trying to upgrade some weak parts of the team, thus Gerrard. Considering Pedro as a LM and a new CB is needed I think. Also, Milito is so awesome.
 
I left Gerrard as a CAM. He still scores occasionally and doesn't make mistakes from what I can tell.
 
I made him a CF, then bought Podolski to play there, so I bought 15k worth of cards to get him as a CM. I think I got him in a pack, so wasn't sure on the price then, but I think he was around 20k. The prices are certainly dropping, La Liga has some bargains. I picked up Pique and Puyol for 15k!
 
I might need to start selling then. I'm considering going La Liga if prices split in half.

Just put the team up for sale, not exactly sure how profitable any of it will be. If anyone wants anything let me know.

Got a 23,000 bid on Suarez with 30 minutes to go, wasn't expecting to get that price.

Is it a problem that my auctions are "completing" almost 10 minutes after their conclusion? Ugh..

Has anyone else had the auction mess-up problem I described?

If anyone has any advice/experience to share with this, it would be wonderful. I have over 150,000 coins tied up in this mess...

I have spent a total of £7.99 in real money and got IF Daniel Agger. I lucked out there as I had no luck from the premium gold 7.5k packs.

Before that I have solely relied on the free packs from pre order, funds gained from playing and buying bronze packs cheap and selling for profit.
 
Okay, that got resolved overnight thankfully.

So I decided to start a career with PSG, signed a few good players, Marcelo and Lahm and might have hulk.
But the first friendly of the season and Matuidi has a broken ankle, out for 3 months.
Thiago Silva out with a broken collar bone.
Zlattan Ibrahimovic.....collateral ligament damage, out for 4 months.

ARE YOU FU**ING SERIOUS?!?!?!?!?!?!

How much does a market savvy person expect prices to drop? I don't know how ambitious to be with my team plans yet.

All I have left to sell is Hernandez and Hart. Hopefully Hart sells soon.

Everything has sold. Now we wait, and I have to put up with not having my good players until the market crashes. When exactly should I start buying again?

It's gonna be a long go until I can get good players again, playing with two backup teams is rough. Feel like I'm talking to myself :lol:.

If prices split in half from here I will basically be able to get everyone realistic that I want.

The team I want is (in 4-3-3 tentatively):

Casillas (if price permits, Diego Alves is 2nd best La Liga keeper right?)
Jordi Alba
Puyol, Mascherano, Pique, and Pepe are the CB choices, suggestions?
Arbeloa (didn't research much about RBs, suggestions are welcome)
Xavi
Fabregas
Xabi Alonso/Ozil/Modric (suggestions are welcome)
Di Maria
Iniesta (David Villa if prices don't drop enough)
Falcao/Benzema (can't decide)

Please give suggestions as to improve.

I suppose Pepe Reina could be used, will he be better than Diego Alves? And would Fernando Torres be a better choice than either of the two STs listed above?

Had to win my last game of the season in FUT in Div 3 online to stay up. 72nd minute and Ogbonna heads in a Gerrard corner.

Damn hard work, am liking my midfield of Pedro, Gerrard, Essien and Jesus Navas at the moment.

Just bought Dede to give a pacey centre back partner to Ogbonna, need it online, not so much offline. Next job is probably looking at a another striker, Milito is awesome and Defoe chips in enough, but my back ups aren't quite cutting it when Milito is needing a rest, though I've just given Malouda a new contract, so I think I'll give him a bit of a run about, he's got decent all-round stats, if a little slow.

Also, just logged in to FUT web app for first time and it's asking me a security question that I've never seen before. Hmm.
 
Bronze tournament quarter finals, Just had my most intense game ever. Matching my Serie B team up against a South Korean team, suitably named "Gangnam Style", I fight it out with him, up to a goal for me in the 2nd half. He equalizes on in the 82nd minute. Straight into extra time we go. He manages to put one in my net in the 1st half of ET, and on the edge of the 2nd half, I get one back again. Then in the 120th minute, he paces through my field and puts one in. Game over? No. I do the same and manage to get a corner. My CB comes to the rescue and runs on to put it in the goal. This followed up with an equally intense penalty shootout, with 3 saves by my keeper and 2 by his, and it was over, 2-1 penalties to me.
 
So I should wait till February? I was hoping early January at the latest...

I now understand why you guys like silver teams. It's like the virgin Mary gave birth 11 times and put them on a soccer field, which isn't fair...

I got Skyrim, so at least I'll have something to occupy myself until prices drop. So much fun, first non-online game on PS3 I'm enjoying.
 
Have £15 worth of PSN money from Christmas I should be spending on packs...waiting for TOTW tomorrow to see if I can pull any new blood from there.
 
You guys think prices will continue to drop? Just saw Xavi for 73,500, Iniesta for 75,000, Casillas for 107,000, Di Maria for 22,500 and Fabregas for 20,000.

And if person with more market expertise than me could tell me when they would start buying that would be awesome.

Other than Iniesta, Xavi, and Casillas the team won't be that expensive. I think everyone else will be around 20k except Arbeloa will be much less and Falcao/Benzema/Torres will be a little more. I just wish I knew when to pull the trigger.
 
TOTW 15 announced. CDM David Luiz, Thiago Silva, Gerrard and Lamela all in it! In packs at 6pm...have 2000 Fifa points to spend. Enough for 6 Jumbo packs.

I'm extremely tempted to start buying again but I'm paralyzed by the fear that a 250,000 coin investment will turn into 100,000 coins before I blink.

I think I'm gonna go ahead and buy a team but hold off on Casillas, just so I can have smaller investments with less loss when prices drop.

8 pm, I had 290,000 coins. Now I have 30,000 and still have two crap center mids and Miranda as a CB.

Y u have no Puyol! He has won every challenge/tackle/header for me. Seriously, It's almost ridiculous! He is a beast!
