The following people do NOT need to submit photos to me for the driver graphic. I took them myself from replays that I saved from practice races. If you are on this list, your car colors are locked in.

i read the rules and i signed up for division 2 but i must know if we i can put aftermarket rims, i put crome motegi racing touge rims on ine if not ill change my rims back to stock and re register
 
Wheels and paint are free to change. Did you get my message about needing to change your number?

Just the ability to set PP, power and weight restrictions on specific classes, like LMP, or GT500, etc.

Up to 207 HP I think I can turn 39's once I get full power, somewhere around the 39.7-40.3 area.
Lots of grip at Spa.

ok ill register again with the new number and take the advantage to change my car color to make it more "canadian"
 
For future reference, should I set race quality to standard or high? I'm not sure if it makes a difference for anyone but I know it does for me.

If I have time, I'll look over my network settings for the 2,000th time and figure out why it's such a pain for people to get into my room.

Depends on the person, I usually go with "recommended" which is high, but I think "standard" does us slower internet people a benefit.

What I want to do is match the settings for when we actually race. I know from my experience that I'm faster with the high setting but I don't want to use it if we're going with standard instead.

You don't need to keep registering, just let me know the changes and I will make them manually. The problem with re-registering is that it puts you on the bottom of the reserves list every time.

hmm.. considering it. The main downside for me, is I like to watch the San Diego Charger's games with some of my buddies. I was going to skip the series, but it just looks to epic to miss. I figured with the 1pm start time, I could still catch the second half.

The late start time doesn't work because my wife gets home at 5pm PDT on Sundays, and its nice to be able to spend the evening with her on those days.

So, I guess none of the times are perfect.. and then we are running the PURE races early Sunday.

What to do.. what to do.. I greatly appreciate the extra invitation Eddie.

I need to think about this a little bit, and check the Chargers' remaining schedule.

If you use an ethernet cable and have a wired connection then you should have no problems. When i host I always set it to recommended too, which is mostly always High, but that changes when you change the max number of participants.
 
Back when GT5 first came out, did you know that if you revved the engine enough off the rev limiter you can get backfire out the exhaust? A previous update removed it for some reason. With 2.0 its back (2.01 not sure if its there still) I never noticed this was back since I use roof/hood cam.

Took some quick pics this morning. However, after coming here, realized they are at the wrong/too much of an angle. With all the blue cars, I might switch mine up. Really wanted to do the tribute to Track Dog, one of meanest track prepped Miatas that Flyin Miata has done, though.

After we all got booted, I did the oil change (which got me to 207), then hit Spa. Opened my own room, and ran some quick laps. Best was 2:38.7. Shocked that is is one of the faster times, but I have been running on Spa all this last week in European rooms. So I do have some practice on it.


Has anyone ran it backwards? It flows JUST as well.

Anyway, it was great racing with some familiar names last night! Was really bummed when we all got kicked.
 
Sorry if this posted but I did search the thread and the OP, I could have missed it though. I am registering for season 3, really looking forward to being able to race with everybody.
How long are the races? I saw that the season finale is 1h20mins. Is this more or less the length of other races? Just to plan my schedule for race days. I hope I can secure a spot on the grid!
 
I registered for the late Sunday night time, it works best for me. But if at all possible, I'd like to lobby for a weeknight date, for those of us that find it difficult to make weekend dates consistently. The Cappuccino Cup is in it's third season, has three dates per week, and the Tuesday night race is always the best attended, so weeknights can work. Just not Tuesday...lol.

have you touched settings that could have made you faster it sorta looks like your wheels are cambered more than stock maybe... (we are running tuning prohibted ofc) unless your just better than Aderrrm :scared:
 
You may have answered my question, but is it tuning prohibited, because I didn't see that in the OP? Looked like it was just tire/hp restricted with no mention of limits on tuning.
 
Speaking of the tuning, I have heard that you can actually tune the car during the race even if tuning is prohibited on the lobby through the RA Menu. Is this true? It seems a bit unfair for those with a DS3. Looks like I might have to map the buttons and allow the RA menu :(

RA menu: Only thing you can do is turn ABS on or off and set brake balance. (on this prohibited setting for this car)

Someone mentioned you can set brake balance in set up menu even with tuning prohibited.

If this is the case. No advantage.
