The actual racing gameplay for a racer though doesn't need music to create a mood or ambiance like a story driven game, and is why the vast majority of racers out there switch off the music in game.
Uh, yeah, it's quite close to what I was trying to say...In all honesty, Luminis, if you had said it like this (which you probaly meant to), this whole confusion would not happen.
You know the GT5 logo is pretty bad. I mean its a G and a T. Forza has much better logo, because it has the F, and the Zah sound in Forza is just awesome.
So yeah GT5 logo < FM3 logo.
I mean we got down to the BGM debate might as well keep nitpicking the smallest detail, no?![]()
T10 are actually smart guys...They upgraded FM3 models and made new 1.000.000 poly models for Auto-Vista mode, at the time when next-gen Box came out they will replace all "old" Non-AV models with Auto-Vista quality models and just use them in-game. That's what I call smart move.
Unlike PD, which are genius. But they will pay the price. They have modeled super-quality cars, with-super-shaders and lighting with super-small team, in super-long time, for super-weak hardware... It's just WAY ahead it's time. PD almost wasted their time to build all that glory too early, for hardware that are not supposed to run it. Now with next console they will be slightly behind T10. PD will need to upgrade their models to match T10 - 1.000.000 polys and again "waste" their time for that. While T10 at that time will just finish upgrading all their models to AV quality and will just use them for real-time game-play on new hardware. T10 are in time...
I originally thought the logo was for FM3 but apparently it's an m and not III. At least they made it look a bit better since FM3 though.
Don't like FM logo at all. And really like GT logo.
70 posts almost entirely arguing about music in games that allow you to change the music to what you like.

THAT is when you know the thread has run it's course.
And now we are debating logos. Really.... ??
Seriously though, I think most people in here are just really excited for the game to come out (I know I am) and we're just playing around. I'd never get into an actual debate about a games logo.

That could be said about GT4, too.It's just WAY ahead it's time. PD almost wasted their time to build all that glory too early, for hardware that are not supposed to run it.
Only one way to solve whose logo is greater than the other.
ASCII Code!
GT5 = 71("G")+84("T")+53("5") = 208
FM4 = 70("F")+77("M)+52("4") = 199
Sorry, GT5 wins.
Well, it started as a joke, I guess... The first answer seemed like a joke, too, but someone had to go "lol GT wins FM sucks lol", right?I don't even know what this thread is about anymore, are we seriously talking about logos or is there a joke I missed?
Like My Chemical Romance?I had to weigh in because I don't want the Top 40/radio crap in my driving games. We get enough of that commercial mindless sludge in media/tv/movies etc.![]()
Always get seizusres anyways, nether works.1- The starting screen when it tells you the game could cause epileptic seizures.
Dunno about the time, but PD will use crowded trains and k-cars. T10 something with a big V8. Merica. T10 wins.2- The location and approximate commute time of the employees of T10 and PD.
Nothing. In both cases.3- The qualifications of the janitors that work at the offices of said studios.
Rice for PD, burgers for T10. T10 wins (but they'll die of heart attacks).4- The diets of employees at said studios.
This one might take a while. *goes to the lab*5- The quality of paper the game case cover insert is printed on.
Like My Chemical Romance?![]()

Besides, the only three bands I even knew from the FM3 Soundtrack were the Hives, Pendulum and Turbonegro... And the other half of the soundtrack (menues and stuff) was done by Lance Hayes for FM3, so I fail to see some Top40 stuff there.
