And you wonder why I intentionally went for the slowest time. I knew rain was in the forecast and I know that the track is basically surrounded by water.
 
Great quali. Rainy conditions show and the potential of the car and skill of the driver.

Sad to see the allegedly number 1 driver from RedBull in the barriers in Q2 though… could be a multiple 21 I guess. Or maybe they fixed something with the brakes…

Everyone was celebrating him when he was blocking Hamilton in the finale last year. Hamilton isn’t fighting for a championship and now Perez quickly gets demonized. Kinda funny to see.

Nobody is butthurt and nobody is demonizing Perez. If Perez really thinks he can fight for the championship than by all means he should go ahead and try. After all, every driver is in it to win it. But the fans really ought to know better.

It's shaping up to be a pretty funny joke though. Might even end up funnier than Bottas 2.0/3.0/4.0.

What happened there? The back of the pack were in the first corner and Max was halfway through the circuit.

Magnussen is a really bad driver when it comes to wheel to wheel combat. Poor spatial awareness and just doesn't know when to back off.
 
Bottas colored outside the lines and Magnussen got a meatball for his wing.

I would say he's overly aggressive. That would've only worked if Hamilton backed out and yielded.
 
Another Alpine infront of Hamilton after the pitstop. They're really giving Mercedes a headache this year. xD

It doesn't look like these tires are lasting. 2 stopper is probably the best option.
