Russell is the master of free pitstops this season. I've never seen a driver so lucky in that regard. Mercedes are in a fantastic position here.

Sainz might be able to go to the end, I don’t think Max can.

Alonso staying out is brave if he thinks he's in a battle with Hamilton.

Yeah, weird Alonso didn't stop.

McLaren, c'mon! 😤

Typical McLaren pitstop shenanigans

Ocon with the French revenge on LeGreg

Its like Massa is back in the Ferrari spending the entire race trying to make one pass.

So now we have cars that can follow closer we are seeing less overtakes on a track which overtaking is usually easier on.

Making for a bit of a snoozefest so far.

Don't screw Sainz over too please.

Will they have Sainz go to the end on these tires...surely not.

Verstappen on a set of hards, Charles on a set of mediums, both presumably intending on going to the end. Did Red Bull not have any fresh mediums left, or did Ferrari make another blunder (apart from the botched pitstop)?

Leclerc is on a one stopper, he had to go on the mediums. And it seems like the hard tire is the better race tire. With Verstappen's pace, the hard was the smarter option.

Leclerc may get a podium.
He will have a better restart with the mediums.
