Leclerc pits. Does Norris cover?

Yes they do.

Norris should not have to pit again. If he does pit again, McLaren has fully grabbed the contender label for Ferrari strategy.
Y'know, I'm watching Piastri lose over a second per lap to Verstappen, and a thought came to my mind:

McLaren wouldn't be stupid enough to have Piastri to compromise Max on extremely hard tyres, in order to allow Lando to catch up and win both the race and championship, would they?

Because, while Oscar is a phenomenally talented driver, I don't think he can make up a second per lap on Mediums.

Edit: No, they'll pit Norris instead...

If redbull are smart.
They will be pitting him now and not gamble on a possible safety car.

He won't take them, too close to Piastri.

Leclerc is going quite fast, may catch Lando near the end, requiring Oscar to back off and let them both by.
If Lando can’t defend a 4 sec lead on the same tyres (one lap newer) he doesn’t deserve the title

McLaren won't care about deserving it when giving Oscar orders.
Funny thing is if Lando drops to 4th, Oscar can also give it to Lando by taking the lead.

Looking at the pace change between Norris and the two cars around him, the Mediums seem to have fallen off

Didn’t understand why they even went for mediums.
Hards was the right call.
