Naturally David Crock has to spoil the moment with his stupid quips that make MCUQuipGPT look like Vince Gilligan.

If only Red Bull ran a 2 car team, they might’ve been able to take 4th today and the title themselves instead of relying on others

Congrats to Lando for his overall performance on the season

Congrats to Mclaren for keeping him in play despite all the mistakes on their end over the season

Congrats to Max for staying in it, he's one incident in Spain away from 5 in a row

Congrats to Oscar for his performance as well, he clearly will continue to be a contender as long as his car is quick.

Finally! GAWD!! I spent the entire race waiting for something dumb to happen. HUGE congrats to Lando on his WDC!

Lando, Piastri, and McLaren made this season unnecessarily difficult. Holy crap. I should be stoked... I'm just glad it's done, and a McLaren driver finished on top. Oscar next, please.

Commanding win from Max.

Leclerc made me nervous. Way too close, way too many times. 😤

Peace out, Sauber. Thanks for giving Hulk a podium. 😐👍

More Ana de Armas waving a flag, please.

Won’t miss this generation of cars. The ground effect stuff was supposed to make the racing closer. It failed. Let’s see how bad the next lot of regs will be.

Alonso 2026 WDC in a Newey rocketship.
Racing was closer at the start, but "someone" complained about butts being hurt.

I think people forget how bad the previous cars were. It's actually been quite a bit better with these cars. Still not good enough, and I hope it's even better next year, but we've actually had quite some good racing with these cars.

He‘s obviously a good and talented driver but to me he comes off as arrogant and bratty on the one hand but also really whiny and effeminate on the other. Like a typical rich kid. I‘ve met quite a few guys like him during my university studies so maybe I‘m just projecting that onto him. I just can‘t stand „men“ like that.

I was rooting for Piastri from the start but that was a well deserved championship for Norris. Congratulations and well done mate!!! You did what you had to. Capitalized every opportunities and made it count when it mattered. Piastri failed to do that on so many different occasions and that's what lost him the lead. Just unfortunate that he couldn't even hold on to P2. I'm sure it's lesson learned for him for the future.

What can I say about Max that's not been said already...the drive of a champion. I counted him out completely mid season but I should have known not to do that. To be in play and almost win this after being so far down midway through the season is just crazy. His talent, his speed and his relentless drive is just undeniable.

Can't wait to see what 2026 bring. Will the racing be better or worst? Are we going to miss DRS? Who's going to nail the regulations? What will Max do if Red Bull and Ford doesn't live up to expectations? Is Lando going to be able to defend his crown? Will Ferrari finally be in a position to actually win? Will Lewis get some of his shine back? Is Mercedes going to just run away with it from the engine side? What will Aston Martin be like under Newey with a very hungry Alonso in the waiting? How will Cadillac fair as the new team? I think there's plenty to be excited about for F1 2026

Congrats to Lando Boris as my friend seams to think he's called even though I keep correcting him and telling him its Nando Boris you Dufus not Lando😀. Having said that F1 seriously sucks. They need to rethink what the objective is. I think for starters I'd like to see drivers sent out and given zero Info about the car and tyres. Put i all on the driver.

Oscar ending this season on P3 feels wrong.
It is, though that's in large part due to McLaren's strategy fumble in Qatar.

I still have the feeling that I had post-Qatar, where I'm happy that Lando won the title (though I would've preferred Oscar), but McLaren's constant fumbles, "Papaya Rules" and questionable strategy calls throughout the year really diminishes the amount of credit I want to give the team. I'm really glad that they got their pit stops and strats right this time, but the team as a whole made their year a lot tougher than it needed to be. Otherwise, there's no reason they shouldn't have finished 1-2 in the WDC this year.

McLaren really needs to take a good look at how they handled themselves operationally as a team during the off-season, and hopefully make efforts to fix those issues. With the new technical regs next year, they (and the rest of the field) will be effectively starting from Ground Zero, meaning that they may not have a fast car built from years of hindsight to cover their mistakes.
