I saw Oscar crash, but what happened to Lando? Did he bottle it, or does the McLaren not work here?

The track was slippery, which probably equalized the cars a bit.

He must've not hooked it up as well as those running behind him. From the footage they showed, he had a few hairy moments. It looked like he was a bit too hot into at least one of the corners at the expense of getting good traction at the exit.
 
Piastri damaged the chassis on his car so will be racing in the spare. No changes to spec/setup so he should be starting in his grid position rather than the pitlane.

Looks like Verstappen has used up all his softs , which could leave him vulnerable .

As Oscar jumped the start and now is DNF, he's probably going to get a grid penalty for the next race.

Max has no chance with the WDC.
Oscar and Lando will need to crash or not get into the top10 for several races for him to have any scope of a chance.

This scenario has a 1‰ chance.

Lewis is looking quite good so far, and should have a tyre advantage later vs Leclerc and Norris (weather permitting).

No grid penalty for Piastri​

Lap 10/51: The FIA have confirmed Oscar Piastri will not have a grid penalty for the next race in Singapore as five-second time penalties do not affect the following race.

However, multiple five-second time penalties do.
