Russell lost power in the tunnel. Red flag. Nightmare session for the Mercs, will start 14th and 15th (provisionally).
They may have to take a gamble for the race and do the lap 1 & lap 2 double stop strategy.

Sounds like George hit a kerb and that caused the car shutdown. Same thing that killed Antonellis car in Imola.

Edit: Nope, he actually lost 90% of his power going up the hill after Turn 1, and then the car totally shut down before the tunnel. That's a weird one for sure. :odd:

I think the extra pit stop puts Leclerc in a strong position for tomorrow. Ferrari have definitely had the faster & more reliable pit crew so far this year. McLaren have had a few slow stops and they can't afford that here.
 
3 place grid penalty for Hamilton for impeding Verstappen.

Moves Max up alongside Piastri on row 2. Oscar better not brake too early again for turn 1.
