Besides, pause does nothing. Rewind gives you an opportunity to restart from a point whilst racing. On GT you'd have to restart the entire race. It's one of the most arcade-like features I've ever seen. It's up there with go-slow on GTA and Need For Speed.

Ahaa i see, so a simple button changes the whole driving/racing experience for you

What's the tire on both Shelby ?

that i dont know

What are you trying to say here ?

The amount that Forza die-hard fanboys go on about how great the physics are, you'd think that they were more realistic than real life physics. Most people that enjoy both games know that's not the case.

Alternatively you just rewind it to the point where you made your booboo?
But that's not realistic. I'll just go with what you're telling is us realistic. Too bad those idiots in F1 races don't do that.

I've not said it's realistic. Point to where I said that. I've just said that it's ridiculous that in the most non-arcade racing sim in the world with better physics than real life, you have an opportunity to rewind. Perhaps whilst you're at it you can tell the F1 idiots that they're wasting their time with actual cars because Forza is just as real.

Did you ever ask me if own both games ? apparently no , while you're here making assumptions as to what i think about the 2 games and accusing me of being a fanboy im here to prove you that is not the case :)

Didn't say you were a fanboy. Just stated that Forza die-hard fanboys go on about how great the physics are.

*Sighs* guys really...?
Anyway im not gonna argue any longer about those unsavory 'features' that you are refering to , im here to talk about the ACTUAL 'physics' of how the car behaves on a road everything else is just pointless and off topic

"Besides, pause does nothing." Does not say, "Besides, pause is way more realistic". You can grasp at straws all you want.
Alright, last one because now I feel bad for crapping on this thread.

You said "Pause does nothing" in response to Forza's physics defying features. So, what you are NOW saying is GT has physics defying features and is just as unrealistic as Forza. Cool beans.

Please see above comment! :crazy::dunce:👍

So question ScirrocoRich. Can Gt5 show me this?

You know the answer to that question. I've never been against Forza, I've never said it was a bad sim. In fact, I've always said the complete opposite. It's a good sim. But by no means is it perfect.

You just took a feature that has nothing to do with physics and tried to say it lessens the game. Sure thing 24 min night & day.

It looks like this thread lately is about how realistic forza is. I jumped into an X

level car last night after only running C class cars. I drove it balls to the wall the entire 4 laps with every assist disabled and never left the track once or even came close to losing control. I shouldn't have been able to jump into the fastest car on the game and be able to control it without running a bunch if laps with it. This is the easiest sim racing game I have ever played.

My friend also tried it with me who never plays racing games and did fairly well also. He shouldn't have been able to drive it at all.

The game practically corrects all your steering problems. I don't know how anyone could even judge the physics of the game with how much hand holding the game does.

I don't see how forza could be considered a sim anymore. All of the cars are way to easy to drive.

I do enjoy it though. It's a nice stress free alternative to actual sim racing games. I think it does a fine job at balancing sim and arcade. You still have a feel for the car and what's going in with it like a sim but you get the easy control of an arcade style racer.

I honestly don't see how anyone could argue that this game is even remotely realistic in anyway way shape or form. It should take a good bit of practice with each car to be fast. You should be able to jump in a formula race car and fly around the track on your first try like we did last night.

The game is really fun though and I will play it to death. Hopefully I can find a league to join once I finish playing the single player.

Someone needs to make a decent console sim. This game is really fun and does a bunch of things right but I don't think realism is one of those things. I think realism and difficulty were the farthest things from turn 10s minds when they made this game.

Post a top 50 lap time and I will start believing you. You obviously haven't push your car to the limit if you think its too easy.
