I appreciate hearing that from someone with the XBone version, since it means I ultimately haven't missed a lot. The XB360 version has the same roads, of course, but I figured maybe the different physics make it more fun or something.
Everything was rather forgettable in FH2, and I think it's because it's so open. Most of the time, there wasn't even a need to use the roads in the races, which is what I didn't like.

Like I said in the car count speculation thread, the first game introduced an element of risk-and-reward in a way that had never really been done before, which is a large part of what made it very compelling to me. I loved the sim-oriented physics combined with bumpy surfaces, narrow roads, blind corners, frequent small elevation changes, traffic, and guardrails or other obstacles ready to punish even small errors in throttle control or your chosen line.

FH1 is a game where your Ruf CTR's front end goes light as you take a corner at the ragged limit of traction, skittering over a gravel shoulder while trying to avoid an oncoming car without losing too much speed or running wide into a guardrail, before a hump in the road sends you cartwheeling because you didn't lift the throttle at the right time. In FH2 you cut the corner, drive straight over the grass without a problem, skip the oncoming car, and there is no hump in the road.

I would like thos big trucks that they drive in Dakar, I think they'd fit right in.(bet they'd be fun in the Motorsport series too)

Y'know, considering how inspired the FH2 (and especially FM6) DLC additions were, I think just about any road car is possible. Certainly an old Benz isn't an unheard of addition... :D

I'm hoping we get some of the JDM passenger cars that are in GT, such as the Toyota Caldina, Carina 2000 and Legacy Blitzen.

Are we talking over the top Mercs? The AMG Hammer is a good start, but this is doing also quite well on that front:

'04 CLK DTM AMG.

I'd also like a Mk III Capri:

Maybe with some Group 5 / Zakspeed inspired body kit options?

The SLS AMG is the one car in FM6 that has never been upgraded to its better-performing later model. A strange omission, that one.

@Luminis - I forgot all about the bonkers DTM. Hopefully we could swap out the 5-speed auto, though!
