Can someone help me understand why Forza community team has decided to gift me a whole lotta cars?

Got a bunch of Bentelys, hoonigan Fords, Lambos, Acura NSX, Porsche, Pagani and much more?

All havd been gifted on 5/29/2025.

Few clothing items aswell.

First time in a week that I've turned the game on.
They gifted lots of cars over the years and thus a whole lotta cars for new players. Some of those are gifted for special occasions with livery pre installed on the cars.

Dodge Durango El Pipilo Scramble Rivals this week and it took me five or so laps before I could finally pass @Edax 76 on the leaderboard. Professional athletes train for hours until exhaustion causes them to hit the wall and they can't progress any further. By way of contrast I proceeded to skip straight to the wall-hitting stage and kept invalidating my lap.

Now that development on FH5 is being mothballed in favour of its successor, I decided to go back to Australia and found that I'd abandoned the Hot Wheels DLC halfway through. Thrilltopia seems much more connected to the rest of the festival with the Surfer's Paradise skyscrapers in the background. The courses are a little trickier in places though and it's easier to fall off the edge while racing.

Judging by how the scenery and assets seem to be much higher-effort than the Mexico iteration (eg rusting ship hulks and discarded sections of track), the conspiracist in me can't help wondering if the FH5 team were originally working on a different fresher and more exciting DLC but the licensing deal fell through, causing PG to knock this one out in half the development time.

That Durango is a sod in the corners, it's so heavy for the speed it carries. I hit the wall on my first and second lap, my time was from my third lap if I remember correctly.

However, the Durango is an angel in corners compared to the Lucid Air. The only thing that corners worse than a Lucid Air is Lance Stroll.

Interesting thoughts on the HW DLC bud. Whilst I do enjoy FH5 HW DLC you are correct it does pale in comparison to FH3's HW DLC. The map design and use of props in FH3's HW is miles ahead. The map is more interesting in track layout and far less barren.

I'm not sure if "interesting" isn't just another way of saying "designed to slingshot your vehicle off the edge of a rain-slick half-pipe into the ionosphere while Uncle Don plays a variety of classical selections from the 2001: A Space Odyssey soundtrack". The placement of some of those speed boosts just before a 180° hairpin turn was plain evil. If FH5 were like this it'd be raining cars all over Mexico. :indiff:

Nice of the DJs (or at least Don) to record extra soundbites for the DLC though.

Did someone end up hitting a custom route limit in FH5? I know that someone told me that FH4 could have a limit of 175 saveables but I'm not 100% sure.

Congratulations bud
I would never have maxed out my car count if it weren't for @Populuxe tirelessly grinding to get the Dark Horse for me while I was on holiday. Thanks pal, I owe you big time. 🙏🏽

I have so many cars now (and 60k+ #Forzathon Points) that there are a whole bunch I have yet to drive. Took the Time Machine III from the movie car pack out for a spin in Sierra Nueva. It's really light and nippy and hitting 88mph at night looks really cool when it glows. No fire trails from the tyres though. Great Scott!

I actually needed the dress AND the flat shoes from the shop this week. I only have one pair of boots and one dress missing to complete those 2 tabs.

This is going to sound weird and I'm no fast driver but having played this game for a few months with no assists whatsoever somehow makes me a smoother driver in GT7 (using controller for both games). I can judge throttle control and brake distance better.

I haven't properly played GT7 all these months because I just jump in everytime a new update launches just to buy the new cars and casually test them. For the last couple of days I decided to just race Le Mans WTC700 at least once and it's like muscle memory from FH5 is transferred here. I went from a lousy driver to a quite a bit competent one.

This isn't a knock to both games, It's just so weird IMO

I don't find it strange at all. As a recent GT7 player with near 80 hours played now, I only made some small adjustments to transfer my Forza (Horizon and Motorsport) habits into the game.

The main difference is the haptics, which make braking/accelerating in GT7 more progressive because you get FFB from the triggers and that makes braking/accelerating in FH/FM to feel relatively "numb". Also, the steering sensitivity in GT7 is more assisted at the default value, so I moved it to 4, and that's closer to the FH/FM feeling.

I think GT7 is more forgiving than FM: cars in general are more difficult to upset and are easier to recover, and FH physics (very underrated) sit in the middle between GT7 and FM.

That being said, drifting in GT7 is just bad (and in FM too), and the dirt/snow races are just OK.

They need to apply the haptics in FH5 (and FH6) like it is in GT7. Would help a lot with throttle feel.

Is there any fix at all for the green and purple morphing textures on distant trees and foliage? I know not everybody sees this and it happens only on some TVs, but this (playing in HDR) and RDR1 (no HDR support) are the only two games that make distant foliage do this weird purplish transformation as the textures load into view.

The season of gifting?

Overall the last month I have gift at 20 Enzo Ferrari and one '94 McLaren F1.:cheers:

Buying a fully stock Enzo from the auction house for less than 2M and gifting it out to new players I believe everyone should have a Enzo Ferrari. :D

@Speedster911 Yeah I seen that but I dont remember the color being green or purple.

Back to being "the billionaire" helps ;)

I always gift to "new entrants to Hall of Fame" anything that I win in wheelspins/doubles that is worth more than 100k, to reward them for at least getting that far.

A little confuse I sold this car for 20M credits and I had 1.1M so shouldn't I have 21M? But I only have 18.2M after

Hey team I need some help. I'm totally stuck on this week's Speed Trap in HW worlds. I can't get a cheap enough car to go fast enough.

Does anyone have any good tunes that work please.

Many thank you's in advance.
