Good to have the One 77 back again.

The next update does not really interest me. Nice to have a few weeks off of grinding those 20 points every week.

A lot of weekly championships feel boring and repetitive. I would have expected more user build races by now. We know they can do it.

It could be anything, but given that it was posted before a FMonthly one assumes the answers should have been in the show.

I'm not sure what else should go in there (and "NOTHING" is a joke) and as far as I'm aware there's been no further clues given... The official forums haven't reacted well either.

That's more than three weeks away.

The "Torben [x]day" posts appear once every update (at best) before the update stream. We had Torben Tuesday with the whiteboard and crossword, then the update stream. The next one will be before the update that arrives before the Series 15 start on December 8.

I can't see any point to posting one third of the clues before an update with three not particularly highly requested, recycled FH4 cars and then not posting any more for another month, unless you want to annoy an already very angry fanbase.

MS is usually a lot smarter than that, so the answers should be on the whiteboard or in the stream - especially as the game's community manager posted it on the official forums and asked if anyone had solved it...

Also, one of the other quotes on the forums were hilarious, as he mentions mining equipment. From Clutch2009:

No new cars and PG offers nothing in return (well, not all the time). Unless if you count that L&C 03 Cyan - which isn't exactly new considering it was in the files since about 9 months ago.

A car being in the game files doesn't mean ****. We have had countless examples of that not just in forza games.
We going two months without any new cars, but we are getting stories, a radio stations, lots of new wheels, RB coming back etc. Not to mention FSR, DLSS and Ray tracing (finally) to PC.
It seems whenever we get new cars, we're light on other content and whenever there's other stuff we get more recycling.

I had hoped atleat with the addition of the EV specific rivals, they would add 1 EV per update atleast.

People complain about things all the time. Sometimes for the dumbest and sometimes rightfully. Most will probably be desensitized to it since it has been happening since the launch of FH4 back in 2018 (For me at least).


Oh, also had to add, the clues need to be addressed on stream atleast because we do end up with a lot them going unanswered and forgotten. It's a waste if all that planning is ignored. I getting teasing future updates but not having follow ups is very weird.

You know what really bugs me? It's such a little thing, but it's annoying and would be incredibly easy to fix.

The popup asking the player to change the difficulty.

"You've been winning a lot, would you like to increase the difficulty?" Okay, sure. I'll turn it up and get some extra money. But wait, now I'm not winning consistently. "You've been losing a lot, would you like to decrease the difficulty?"

There's essentially no way to make the game stop asking. There's no balance where the game will think the player is on the right difficulty setting. You either win too often or not often enough.

The confusing thing is that this popup was added in FM6. In that game, from the very first time it asks, there is a "Don't ask me again" option. Where is that? Why has it been left out since then? Believe it or not I'd rather not get bothered every few races about my difficulty settings, and T10 seemed to understand that 7 years ago. I don't think FM7 even used this popup, but it carried into FH4 and later FH5 as a regular annoyance. All they need is a "Don't ask me again" option, and the problem is solved. It existed when they first took it from FM6, surely they can put it back in.
 
I tried using the livery editor for the first time to make a Huracan Sterrato. Definitely a lot harder than it looks lol

I have been getting that too. Again it would be easy to properly code in, just like the other stuff they did.

Another thing that kinda bothers me: Skill songs also have been a prime example, as the game will provide a prohibitive textbox on the top left of the screen that tells you to "Please change back to [radio station]" or "Perform skills to get double Skill Score for the duration of this song." And if you skip it, it'll keep hounding you repeatedly until you at least partake one skill influenced by double score. Wouldn't the textbox be temporary, though? Most of us are familiar with Skill Songs. But in FH5 the text is in allcaps, as if it was shouting at us.

I'm hopin' the next update on Tuesday should bring new QoL features. But I doubt it. Why not request your suggestion about the 'winning easily' prompt? Shouldn't be hard to do.

They always say something like “This has been identified as a known issue which you can find in our articles linked below (know issue article that is). These are updated regularly and some issues may not be listed on there yet.” But my submitted bugs never made it to the article.

Based on the situation i'm facing right now, we may have far more bugs in game than what we are seeing on the known bugs article.

and we found recently, the one-77 has uv map bug :v
 
One of the known bugs that will not be corrected that disappoints me the most is the lack of shadows in some models.
McLaren's...machines with three digit number names (they have too many similar designs and names, I don't remember them all correctly), like the Mayers Manx FE, some models do not have the shadow that should appear on the bottom.
I always play racing games in chase view because I like to look at my car and drive it, but these models look like hovercrafts in chase view and I don't want to use those cars.

These bugs do not crash the game, nor do they give us wheelspin or cr. So it is highly unlikely they will fix this bug.
Still, I hope they will fix this bug someday.

I'm 99% sure that this is by design - there are cars in the game with adjustable suspension that still have 4WS like the Sesto HE and Beetle HE so it's not that it's unsupported, but in the real world it's pretty common to lock out or remove 4WS systems with aftermarket suspension, for example HICAS deletes on a Silvia or Skyline.
 
The on thing I very much cannot stand about FH4 is its theme song and how long I would have to listen to it 4 years ago on my og XBone. It's a good thing it takes about 30 seconds to load on the Series X and it's only for a week, because that is one annoying noise I never want to hear again.
 
Is there something I'm missing here? It's not even the GTS, just the regular E92 you can buy for 48k at the autoshow... All the auction house listings are like that, there isn't a single one under 200k. :confused:

Whereas I'm definitely not too bowled over with the new update contents I prefer not to complain like a lot of others. They said we will be getting a double "large" christmas update so I don't mind a quiet month if that update is going to make up for it.

Also hopefully those rumours and reports that Alfa (and hopefully other Stellantis brands) are finally coming are true.
 
Assuming Stellantis cars does come back, I strongly, strongly hope they are added to Autoshow.

I hate exclusive car system and playlists, but more serious is the number of cars I already own in my car collection.
I basically only own one car of one type, with the exception of a few favorites, and I sell any unnecessary autoshow cars immediately.
But still, I already have over 900 cars in my garage.
If dozens more Stellantis are added there as exclusive cars, it is inevitable that they will squeeze my garage space.
Unless they further increase the limit of cars I can own with the update, my garage will soon reach the limit.
