The only new thing i manage to find is sound files for eliminator.
Basically it's a bunch of airplane engine sound and parachute opening sound effects. From the name it's probably going to be used in eliminator loading and intro.

You want a better glitch, why not implement a "door delete" glitch, which removes the car's doors and shows your driver and the car's interior out into the world, and have plenty of junk lying around.

Found this on twitter, comparison of the new Lynk race car vs the road going version with the widebody

So the TCR car is definitely not road legal, but apparently the bodykit street car is basically this concept: https://www.motor1.com/news/366671/lynk-co-03-cyan-nurburgring-records/ which has been round the Nurburgring 3 seconds faster than any other 4 door road car (i.e. beating the AMG GT 4-door and Jaguar Project 8 which both achieved 7 mins 23 : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nürburgring_Nordschleife_lap_times ) as well as any FWD road car.

I guess because it was a concept it didn't get placed in the official Nordschleife lap times list, but it has pedigree.

Anyway, TCR spec is very reasonable for Horizon in terms of speed/grip. I wonder if any others are coming?

Definitely possible if the Lynk has set the precedent. Remember the old FH4 texture "leak" had quite a few TCR names in there. I can't remember if the Lynk was one of them, but I certainly remember thinking at the time that they were all for FM8 and nothing else.

The sharpening filters do affect the visual quality a lot it seems, and the gains from DLSS/FSR aren't very high either.

Has there ever been a situation in any other racing game where a whole manufacturer was shown off pre-release - only to not even feature in the final product?

Off the top of my head - the debut trailer for Race Driver: Grid prominently featured a Ferrari F430 GT2 car being overtaken by faster GT1s at le Mans. But on day one there were no Ferraris in the game, and the 430 would only be added to the game one and a half years after launch, with the Prestige Pack DLC.

I've never played any of the older Horizon games so this season wasn't that as nostalgic to me, but I'm going to miss hearing A Moment Apart on the title screen. I love Odesza's music, especially that album. I saw them perform live a few years ago and it was breathtaking.

Seeing the remade FH4 intro and hearing A Moment Apart again after such a long time genuinely made me cry, FH4 and A Moment Apart hold such a special place in my heart. I always watch this intro twice - when the beat kicks in during the second time I still get goosebumps, it's so damn amazing.

Best intro song featuring the best cover car make it the best intro in a Horizon game ever, I really don't know how they will ever top it because everything is just so perfect it's insane. I really hoped we get to keep the remade intros and choose which one we want, but unfortunately that's not the case

The "added" bug in this update allows us to observe the engine bay of the S15.
And this bug allowed us to learn some interesting facts about the S15.
They used an image of the engine bay of an E30M3 as an image of the engine bay of this car.

And perhaps this image has been used for many other inline 4 front engine cars besides this one.
This is one of the ideas to simplify the modeling process.

Why those negative posts ? This game gets monthly free stuff so what to complain about ? Back in the days a game got released you bought it and thats it. Beside 2-3 Patches no support and free stuff for month at all.

Because Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and the other social platforms are never satisfied and anyone who speaks up to the opposite is a shill/paid poster. That's what happened to me yesterday.

The majority of the people in that thread are new users and not Forum regulars who have been around since the beginning. Their definition of "real players" is skewed and 98% of them will never find anything positive at all. The forums are just as toxic as the other platforms now and it's the reason why a lot of us left.
