Well when the choices for 2012 are only Horizon and Most Wanted 2012 its a landslide in favor for Horizon. Pretty weak year for racing games. Maybe other racing games slipped my mind but these are the only 2 I can remember for 2012. MW2012 was beyond terrible. Massive disappointment.

There's F1 2012, and it beat out any of those "ball sports" games. That's pretty cool. Never heard of EDM though; I initially thought it was EGM (Electronic Gaming Monthly).

I have been wanting to rent F1 2012 and cant find it anywhere. The demo was great. I forgot that came out this year.

Personally I'd go with Madden '12, with F1 2012 as a runner up. There really wasn't much released in 2012, definitely a weak year.
