Okay, thanks for letting me know, still its quite paltry. I understand the license issue but some other nice cars to be included in the normal game would be nice to attract me to buy it and make up for the loss. I not expecting every RUF, just a bit less BS DLC. I mean I don't mind missing out on exclusive paint jobs or special T10 version but I've got FM3 with a ton Porsche's. Would be nice to not have to spend £50 or whatever on some LCE or DLC just to get a Noble.

I'll be getting it soon and I'm excited for the game, new tracks etc but if the Noble and RUF's plus other cars were included I'd buy it day 1. Just a bit tight for money right now and don't feel OMG I need this right now. I bought F1 2011 on PC just recently for only £18.

No worries, its business. Just for me this year I'm inclined to wait a bit.

I do feel sorry for the devs, since late 2008, new games are half price very quickly.

I agree with you. The only reason I'm getting the LCE is because of those 5 sodding VIP cars, all of which are very enticing- Ruf RT12 R, Noble M600, Bugatti Veyron SS, Ferrari 458 Challenge and the top of the line Lambo Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera.
I also think T10 could have just included all these in the standard game but they want to make as much money as possible and since the M600 is the only Noble in the game, it forces you to get the LCE if you want to have Noble in your list of manufacturers.

No it just the Subaru. The lighting on that instrument cluster just sucks. The rest of the cars in the demo are fine.

If you watch the two vids again the cars in front in the E3 demo are nicely lit up in the sun much like GT5 in the new demo the lighting is very dark even though there is not a cloud in the sky the back of the cars are very very dark. Something is severly wrong somewhere. :nervous:

I am playing the demo right now. I am not watching YouTube videos.

So, I am telling you from first hand experience that the lighting on the interior instrument cluster in the Subaru is terrible. The only thing you can make out 95% of the time is the speedometer and tachometer needles. The rest of the cars are fine.

Yeah i've played the demo alot as well it's great but your point is not the point im making.

The cars in front at the back of them are black alot of the time yet it's a clear sunny day this is not the case in the E3 demo.

Then why quote me to tell me I am wrong?

Btw what is your gamer tag?

Meh, I'm never going to use cockpit view in the game anyway so I'm not concerned about interior lighting.

Actually, the only cars I might try the interior view on are the open cockpit prototypes and the Radical. Unless they give us the option of turning off the wheel animation and adjusting things like positioning and FOV I wouldn't go near it. Darin Gangi asked the main dev. about those options and he was really sketchy about it like, ' Why would anyone want that?'

Ridiculous.

Anyway, as long as the standard bumper cam's included I'll be happy.

You can change the interior view by setting the console as the host console in multi-screen settings and adjusting the view in that menu. It's a work around that I used in Forza 3 to get a wider view angle than the preset interior view.

I would assume it will be the same for 4.

Bumper cam is included. Would not class it as standard though.

Hood cam too.

FM4 looks much better thanx to new lightning system.Great Job Turn 10.

Motion blur also looks like its been used more.

I do try, honestly, and one time I think I got 2 seconds faster then you, but I think I went off track by like, a centimeter :grumpy:

Anyway, I can already tell that credits will be earned easily because I'm able to race with almost every assist off except ABS, and use simulation mode. 👍

I put up faster times today. Me and Zr1chris have been going back and forth. I have him beat on the M5 and 458 by a couple seconds. He has me beat by about 0.7 in the Cinque. It's hard to keep up with him using a controller. I really don't think they allow full rotation of the wheel using the analog because all I can seem to do is understeer even at full throttle in the Cinque; or that car is just really glued to the ground. I'll get him when my wheel gets here lol.

Ugh...I didn't notice this before but you are rolling with some ABS on Zoo. I might have to do that to catch up to you on rivals mode.

Ya, I have to. No ffb and it is close to impossible for me to gauge how close I am to lock using the triggers lol. I was actually going to attempt the Cinque race without it to see if I could catch Chris. I lose him in the entries because of it.

It is? LOL sorry.

Anyway, has anyone else noticed that the Zonda Cinque does not have 30 FPS mirrors? :p

No I hadn't. It might be because there is only one car on the track; well, and the rival ghost.

They most likely only restrict it when there are other cars on the track; and something to actually display in the mirrors lol.

Also, I think I was the one who started this whole 30fps bit on the mirrors. I haven't done any image analysis on them or anything so don't take my observation as fact. The rate just looks about half as fast.

Nobody should expect much with me no matter what I use...only cuz I suck ;)

Man does the BMW in Rivals mode feel like a TANK after you drive the Zonda and 458 over and over. Feels like an F class car in comparison. Sheesh.

Evian
Aston Martin One-77 seems difficult to drive with no assists ...

I think that dude just sucks and has never used a FFB wheel before.

Look at the twitchy steering. Who the hell does that? Lol.

I love the over exaggerated shifts on the paddles. Lol I think he wants everyone to see how bad he is.

Reminds me of women drinking wine throwing their pinkies in the air lol.

Fail.
