The 4. dot on the right in central europe precisly germany. Could that be the norisring in germany?

And is it possible that Spa is in? there are 3 dots really close to each other and one is definetly the Nordschleife and the only courses that are that close are Spa and Zolder.
 
Looks like that dot I thought was Daytona is probably just the fantasy track Sunset Peninsula :(

Someone over at FMnet made this, it could be accurate.

Certainly appears to be 2 tracks in FL. Whats the chances one of them is my local Palm Beach International Raceway? :drool: I doubt it though. :(
Spa would be epic however. :D

Nice update, thanks for posting.

The game looks to have many ways to enjoy it and appeal to lots of different peoples interests yet have fun with cars.

Rivals Mode and Car Clubs sound to be really cool.
I just hope they allow the game to track sector times, fastest sectors, and fastest laps. Having that information after a race just deepens the involvement and interest.

Anyone share the same thoughts?
 
One thing I noticed from the Game Trailer videos:

Appearently, you can now look properly into the cars during the race. There were a few opportunities where one could clearly see the driver in the other cars or the cockpit of your own car while in chase cam.
Quite the improvement over FM3.

Also, more tyre smoke!

i am the only person who hates the payouts in forza. :nervous:

i have gt5 and i love both because forza and gt are great racing games

but..in gt5 we have an easier way to make more money to buy and tune all the cars included

i have forza 3 too and the payouts are so bad, i need so much time to buy a supersportscar and i hoped, that would be changed in forza 4
i dont have xbox gold, even i dont have the marketplace

but i saw a payout for the e class race are 3000 in the new video and its the same like forza 3

sry for bad english :D
 
I just watched the videos in post 364. Some of these we already knew about.

- Soccer (Football) is confirmed as a game mode.
- Top Gear Bowling is a new game mode (similar to PGR4 cone challenge)
- 12 player confirmed for single player
- 16 confirmed for multiplayer.
- Passing mode has unlimited cars. (Similar to PGR4)

Im not a big fan of this soccer and bowling stuff but as long as T10 doesnt get too distracted by it and it doesnt take away from the actual racing and physics I guess Im ok with it. If I wanted soccer I would simply play Fifa.

Similar modes are already in the F3 online multiplayer hoppers. In fact they also have Destruction derby in F3 but only a multiplayer mode online in the hopper to choose from. So they are not a requirement at all. In fact there are actually quite a few fun multiplayer modes like these including cat and mouse and a bunch of others.
 
Is very appreciative the graphic update in the Fiat's cockpit (in the first video); betters shaders & textures than FM3 👍

Im aware that they have similar modes now. All im saying is I hope they don't start focusing too much on that stuff and leave the physics and racing part of it neglected. Im ok with those modes as long as it doesn't hamper the true identity of the game (the racing).

Hmm still no Bathurst confirmed yet. Such an amazing track and the only game I played that had that track was Toca.

It can be tough but depends on how you setup the races. The harder you make a race, the bigger the payout. AI on hardest, no assist, no driving line, etc can get you like double the prize amount. Not having LIVE Gold hurts you as well. You can sell cars, tunes, liveries, and vinyl groups online which can bring in a good amount of money. I recently read an auction house thing where if you sell expensive level 5 cars you can get quite a good profit from them, but you'd need LIVE Gold in order to sell the cars online.

Also, if you'vee got trouble making money on FM3, just have the AI do some laps for you via the "hire a driver" option. Give them some sort of overpowered car, select one of that ~1 hour endurance races, go do something else and get back later to reap the benefits ;)

Yeah I hear ya. Major spoilers. Especially since there will only be a handful of cars in that mode. I think I will try to stop watching those too. :scared:
 
That reminds me a lot of the PGR4 cone challenges in a good way. It also looks like we have the ability to pick different goves instead of just the black gloves.

I want to know because I'd really like to pre-order the game to get one of those exclusive cars. I don't have an XBox, but I'm planning to hopefully get one. But I need a reason to get one.

If you liked Forza 3 you will probably like F4. If you didnt like F3 then you should just rent F4.

It should be worth it in most scenarios but depends on what you what you like out of a game. You should try out Forza 3 if you can.

Do you like GT5.?

If so then yes you will like this.
It's more of the same. I'll not get into slagging off either side but if your into racing games and don't feel the need to be loyal ( which is daft anyhow ) then get it.
