I don't know where else to post this question but I'll shoot for it.

Is it worth buying? I've never played any of the Forza series but going off of Forza 3 and such for you guys, would Forza 4 be worth it? I want to know because I'd really like to pre-order the game to get one of those exclusive cars. I don't have an XBox, but I'm planning to hopefully get one. But I need a reason to get one.

So would it be worth it? Is this the right place to be asking this? And is it to early to be asking this question?

If you really like GT, you'll really like Forza. Just know what you're getting yourself into though. Wheel? Live gold? HDD? etc...

Good thing they outsourced the modelling. If T10 modelled the cars to that level of detail themselves, we would probably end up playing a game with 25 cars or something

I know Ive commented on it before but when I see how good "Auto Vista" looks I cant help but think, they seriously need to have that in 3D even if the gameplay isnt 3D compatible.

Id love to expereince that on a projector in 3D using Kinect. It would go down as an OMG moment in gaming/entertainment surely?

No thanks! 3D is a fad that I hope dies sooner than later. Have tried getting into it for both movies and games and I dunno... just not my thing.

After those recent videos, there are at least 50-75 pics that could and hopefully will be posted. I thought about taking the screenshots myself off of youtube but these large images are much better. The detail is way beyond rediculous.

Still no confirmation of how many total Autovista cars will be in the game but I am still guessing only 5% at launch.

No thanks! 3D is a fad that I hope dies sooner than later. Have tried getting into it for both movies and games and I dunno... just not my thing.

3D would also lower the detail as it would have to be displayed twice in 720p. Even in non 3d mode the detail would be lower so 3D just ruins games.

5% is unlikely, that would mean 25 cars, and we already know about 20 of those. 10% is more likely (meaning 50 cars).

Won't start a 3D debate but seriously anyone that has experienced good 3D would appreciate how much more realisim could be added to this feature. It is not a gimmick and while not achieving it's full potential this generation it certainly isn't for going away if you look at the current market trend.

No problems and yes the book will have some content. I think 30-60 is a good number but feel 30 is too little as we know they have cars as old as perhaps the 60s or 70s.

Ferrari alone is likely to have a dozen cars or more I reckon.

That would be an astonishing amount of cars to have detailed and modeled to that extent in such a short period of time.
