^^Possibly a stig suit?

I can't run any AI lap times at the moment to check but to be the fastest unmodified in the game it would need a competitive P.I

Peugoet sport 908 LMP......... R1 997
Peugoet sport 905 EVO 1C.....R1 953
Porsche RS spider EVO..........R1 952
Momo Ferrari 333sp..............R1 933

Plus a few more in between, it maybe fastest it it's sub-class if there are any other cars in FM3 that share it. But it can't hold a candle to the LMP1/2 cars. Despite this it's a very fun car to drive. One of my favs anyway

I hope so. If we get the TGTT, I want to dress up as the Stig as well. if they got the presenters to do voice overs, they should've picked up a Stig suit, too.

To get back onto the whole PI system topic:

This video got me thinking. The Ferrari GTO is in the S-Class, and the Cougar is in E, which seems to be, more or less, in line with what I'd expected from FM3 (the cougar being probably close to other muscle cars that are already in the game, and the GTo being a bit slower than the 599XX, which was in the R11 class).

However, the STI, which was a C-Class car in FM3, is now placed in the B-Class, at the high end of it, by the way. This seems to suggest that AWD cars now have a higher PI, to compensate for the advantage you can get from the AWD.
Just and indicator, of course, but I think that's a decent one, at least.

What do you mean? LCE is available, it is just an exclusive to Game and Gamestation.

?

Indeed I even updated the first page with a direct link to it. Game shipped out my GT5 Sig Edition on good time, so they seem reliable too. Also noticed the "Official Website" link for the "Standard Version" in the UK now has the appropriate cars shown for the various online stores. 👍

I used to think Hyundai (back in the 80s) was the WORST. They are on their way to be one of the best. Crazy how they have changed.

In 90's and 80's their car lines and designs were terrible , but in this decade they have improved a lot.

I like it this car :)

Oldie

New incoming ( yes , is reality but is so impressive the quality on autovista mode when is compared with the real car )

Evian, they actually used that footage of the MP4-12C on Top Gear yesterday. It looked "hyper-real", but that actually fits well with Top Gear's car porn aesthetic, so the result was fairly seamless.

Dayumn, dat MP4!

Autovista, car porn in a box. Boy, I spend some time to get a few nice pictures out of GT5, guess I'll do that all over again with FM4 - this time around, though, they'll feature custom liveries and such 👍

I don't know how many of you are speaking from what you heard or experience. But I can tell you from experience those cars were beyond horrible. Those things have left me with a bad taste that I would never get over. I never owned one, wasn't that crazy, but I knew people who had them and I swear it's almost like you can see it age and fall apart right in front of your eyes.

I have never owned one, no. I have had a ride in the Excel back in the 80s. It was a girl I worked with, she bought it new. It was a complete piece of crap:

And a person I happened to work with last year, she had a Hyundai Sonota. It wasn't bad at all, and much better than my experience from 25 years ago:

But their cars do keep getting better:

Friend had an Excel years ago. I remember the issues he had with it. Tranny decided to work in 2nd gear only at one point (auto tranny btw). Brakes decided to lock up on him once. Car had some other issues but Hyundai for sure has gotten better over the years.

So how many of the cars can we guess from the official trailer. Particulary the short flash of cars with the No.4 which happens near the end. Could these be iconic cars from the past? Be good if someone can upload screen caps.

That car was at the FM4 launch event, but there was no gameplay footage shown...

Forcacentral had a WIP list going with all cars that have been spotted and/or confirmed so far, but I didn't copy it in time :indiff:

I dont recall it being there, but if you can proof it with a picture? Too my knowledge the car was in the FM4 announcement trailer.

It's in no trailer. So far, no open wheeled car was. Neither the anouncement trailer with the real life footage, nor the E3 trailer, or the 'leaked' one.

Anyways, I had a quick look for the McLaren, but appearently, the only footage I can find redirects me to the curretnly inaccesible Forzacentral. I think it has been postered on one of the FM4 threads, but I really can't be bothered to search for it now
