I haven't voiced my interest in Forza 4 yet, but I think that now is a good time to do so. This is pretty much the only game I'm aiming to get before the end of the year, and after clapping eyes on those incredible images, I want this game even more than I did a just a few weeks ago.

Pagani Zonda R

That sound...is...incredible...

It sure as hell is.

Lol, that was the collective reaction.... my jaw is permanently grounded as of today

I'm playing with the Corvette that is in that GIF of Hospitta's, and wow, such a difference is astonishing when you compare it with FM3.

Man this game has got me hyped up. Cant wait for that Sesto Elemento.👍

The graphics on this are phenominal, best racing game graphics on the 360.

Whoa. Serious steering delay in video 2.

It seems like response to steering inputs is pretty decent, but the hands in cockpit view are a bit behind. That seems pretty typical of videos of racing games in cockpit view. And some of it could be the HDTV and its processing. I notice less of delay myself when I bring my Xbox or PS3 into my office and use my monitor instead of my projector.

I don't know why but I'm REALLY looking forward to running the Radical, it looks freaking PHENOMENAL ! If it's only 75% good as iRacing's I'll be happy. Actually... it would be nice if it was a little easier so I might be even more happy!

Looks like I'm gonna start an SR8 league come October. :D

Damn, the audio quality is excellent plus info that they have ensured the LFE is being well utilised for Buttkickers etc is music to my ears and my longterm plans with audio immersion. Im probably more excited for the audio than most with the plan to use 5 Subwoofers and 14 tactile/buttkickers on the cockpit all within 7 channel audio.

Some obsessions are maybe a good thing :)

The Giant Bomb Preview was an interesting read.

Although, one part caught my eye:

After a few hours with it, Forza Motorsport 4 doesn't feel dramatically different from the previous game.

Do you have a link for it?

What did they mean by feel?

Can't tell much from that as a large chunk of the game is for the most part the same as FM3 only tweaked for FM4.

If you are expecting a completely new experience in FM4 you have your sights set too high.

Thank you sir.

Except with the new layout for the career mode (World Tour), car clubs, rivals mode, and Autovista I would have to say it is a completely new experience from FM3.

A review journalist is hardly a hardcore sim racer; rather a casual racer that has undoubtedly put a significantly less amount of hours into FM3 than I have and will put less into FM4 than I will. So I take reviews with a grain of salt.

Regardless, I was just looking for new tracks, cars, and upgraded graphics and physics. They have delivered that. The rest is simply icing on the cake.

I just noticed that Forza's new Indy GP track has been altered.

Can't find one.

GT5 uses the older GP circuit and FM4 uses....well...they use PART of the new GP circuit. Speedway Turn 4 isn't used anymore.

The one in Forza is the one used for the Grand Am test in '09 and likely the race in '12, they use the banked turn.

Ah, and he even said that FM4 layout without the hairpins is new as of that video. And I bet PD recorded their track data well before that which is why they have the hairpins and FM4 does not. Still wish they'd add the other variation, though. (without Speedway 1)

Loving the new Audio, makes such a difference.

PD with their vacuum cleaners really need to take note.

I really don't hear any difference, and not only that the replays still sound as if I was driving in cockpit view. I will agree with some cars sounding terrible in GT5 but at least there is a dramatic sound difference from cockpit view to replay view.
