Agreed. Looks really nice.

They still haven't added some of the bumpiness that the track should have though. It looks much too smooth still.

I agree....but I still reserve judgment for when it is in my hands. I still dont think a video of someone else playing it gives an accurate measure.

You would think after the flack given to that track, they would have gone out the way to improve it in FM4. We will see.

ah nice.

Problem is, a lot of what was wrong with the 'Raing was done intentionally, so I kinda have low hopes to see the major issues gone :indiff:

To be honest, Nords is not my favorite track (I know...blasphemy) so I am not that concerned personally. I do know lots of people think its the only track in the world though.

I race the Ring the least and Road America the most.

I'm one of the typical 'Ring lovers... as far as real world tracks go. In FM3, Fujimi Kaido is probably my favourite.

Wouldn't be the case if it wasn't for the widened 'Ring, though...

Yeah. I'm sure the reason is that they didn't want to have to re-scan that entire track. It must take them like 4-5 times longer than your average track. That track is massive. Remember when they said someone has to walk the inner and out edge of each track to model it? I would not want to be the one that would have to walk that entire track twice. They probably just figured they would spruce it up a bit with the fog since that area seems to be foggy quite often in real life which will give it much more of it's true personality.

Well, they said they laser-scanned it already, didn't they? So, i supposed they would've stored the raw data somewhere... I mean, they must've used that as a basis for the widenend version.

Seems like too much effort to just throw that stuff away.

I'm sure they do have the previous scans. Why didn't there previous scans pick up the bumps though? Was it just taken out by T10 or maybe the technology in the scanner has changed? Just a ruff thought.

No, the DLC Spyker was the Laviolette (spelling)

This one is the C8 Aileron.

This is true, and It appears to be in the 2011's White dress which would mean that it has the Corvette ZR1 engine giving it over 600hp. I am curious if they're gonna use the Corvette engine for LeMans.

I wouldn't be suprised if that, too, had to go in an attempt to make the track more "race friendly"...

Nice to see the 240SX was implemented.

Maybe one day, we will get this.

I must say, this is far more applicable to GT5 as having too much old Japanese crap ..... :)

For me, one of the important factors about car selection should be their style and design. The American classic cars (especially those in the first Forza DLC) are beautiful, ornate, and exquisitely designed - however, one simply cannot say the same about the car in the above image. They look like one-in-a-dozen car, cranked out in a soulless factory that prized efficiency, quantity and ジャストインタイム.

Well you have to remember, Forza is made in America, and GT5 is made in Japan.

Well, there are some of the important, older Japanese cars... 2000GT, older Celicas, Supras, AE86, Datsun 510, S30Z, Hakosuka, S13 Silvia, upcoming 240SX and AW10 MR2, NA Miata, CRX, old Civics...

I didn't count them each, but on first glance, it doesn't seem like there are much less of those than there are American cars from the 90s or earlier...

Maybe I should count the cars and see how they're devided, much like I did with the PI...

You can't please everyone... Forza is more to my liking though. GT has WAY too many econo boxes and Japanese cars (and many versions of the same).

Ugh, so how many codes do we have to enter when we get the LCE? 6? Arn't they long enough already?

Not when you have the chat keyboard. :sly:

This is off-topic, but I don't want to revive a year old Forza thread.

This is about MyForza.com, every time I search my name on that site, I get this.
We've encountered an error while processing your request. Please try again.

I have tried clearing my cache, history and such but it isn't working?

Just keep trying over and over. I have the same problem but after trying like 4 or 5 times back to back it usually will eventually work.

You can enter them on the Xbox website.

It only takes a few seconds each. You could do that while Disc 2 installs.

Didn't work, now it's taken me to the Forza 4 site?

I see, thanks for the information, how long has it been down as I haven't been able to access it for a week.
