@Furinkazen has in the past said that there is little point in success ballast as it could be counter productive......so why not introduce success BHP cutting as I was going to do in Swifts to which people got scared that they could actually loose a race once in a while.

BHP CUTTING is the only solution to slow faster drivers which incidentally should happen in WSC too.

Even the odds for Gods sake Alex, is it really THAT difficult?

No No No you got it all wrong. Turn 1 is left. Same with turns 2, 3, and 4 leading onto a curved pit straight with a straight between 2 and 3. Bank all corners and the pit straight and you've got it :dopey:

I'm also not anti-handicap rules, but I think success ballast is better, because with bhp-cutting you just give free overtakes to everyone with full power, where ballast mainly makes the faster drivers slower where they usually make the time, i.e. in corners. I tend to think it's the fairer system and would lead to less frustration.

Either way, I think it should be used in moderation. The point is not to make it impossible for someone to win, just to make it harder. Together with reverse grids, even comparably little ballast can make it a whole lot harder to dominate. (it should not be a tool to iron out inequalities in the BoP though, although it can be)

Never gonna beat yours though. Not enough seasons to do it and besides the success I've had this season probably won't happen again (11 wins, three 2nds, one 4th...)

I find it hard to believe I've raced in half of the ToCA seasons.
