I'm building a new car for the second part of the season.
Didn't notice any difference after that said chassis refresh either...I never did anything to my BMW, and that did fine...
Noooooooooooooooo.
Just when ya thought GT6 couldn't get anymore random!Same - like I said so much quicker in the new Focus today this morning testing both cars out.
I got my Focus on christmas eve, 3 weeks and 4 days before the first race. It's coming up to having 2000 miles on it. I do an oil change and chassis refresh every week.Well i'm currently discussing this theory: (Quote from PM)
PD as we know had the wheel rim glitch about cars with changed wheel sizes. Now that was fixed but we don't know how it impacted cars built pre patch before the fix do we?
Now who's on top of the standings now or been very quick lately? @LancerEvo7 / @DrifterJoe / @Scaniabebe . They all built cars very close to season start.
Who's been / was struggling? Me / @Carbonox (in Renault) / @gtpanoz / @rolo912011. We all built cars a long time before season start.
That and I did a some offline Spa running this morning. Old RPM Focus 2:29.8 with 29.5 possible . New Focus built today 2:29.3 with easy 28's possible....
@Yeratel84 then correctly points out the actual bug affected RWD's only, but that was exclusively rim size. @LancerEvo7 has also said the Fords seemed different at Ascari. But how can it explain a 0.6 second deficit.?
Tech Update:
HONDA - +10kg ballast. This ballast may not be moved however.
What?!![]()
What?!![]()
The 🤬?Doesn't extra weight make the FWD Cars faster?!
Nice testing.What?!![]()
Usually in GT6; when you add weight to a FWD Car - it'll make it faster... 💡
Add ballast, stick it at the back and wonders are done to your FF car's weight distribution. Very very handy on the twisty stuff.![]()
Furi I think there's an error is the standings. At Ascari I got a two 5ths and a 8th but for Race 2 you gave me points for 6th not 5th.
So errr what's gonna happen?
Of course the weight limits are minimum, so there's always the chance people can add ballast and speed up their cars whilst still being inside the rules.
Always know that 👎
If ballast is shifted to the front it will make handling a bit worse no, more weight at front?
