Driftsterand you hate poor people....your point is?
I love Gran Turismo 1 2 and 3. GT3 is the only Ps2 game I have yet to trade in, if you didn't know I used to be an avid enthusiast in the GT3 part of this board, but then..alas..My Ps2(Both #1 and #2) Crapped out...GT4..I don't like, because I spent alot of $$$ on GT3 1/2 after X# of years in anticipation about the game...
and yes, I traded in my GT4 but kept GT3
I used to love it..I used to hate the Xbox, blindly I used to think it was an ugly green POS system. Then I played Halo, and started to like the system...Then My Ps2's Crapped out on my...And the Halo edition X box (Clean green instead of the ugly black box) hit the shelves..and I was happy..It wasn't as ugly as the big black chunk of plastic...Still not as sleek as a Ps2..but It hasn't scratched a disk, never not worked, never not read a disk, never had a problem at all. But sure..yeah..I'm trolling..
Because 90% of the posts here are opinion based, now FPS's are lame? Well that explains alot, you're more of the type of person who enjoys saving the cat people from the evil dragon gyudemach with your level 37 dungeon swordsman.....right?
So you traded in GT4 instead of GT3 for what reason? GT4 has everything GT3 had and more...you lose me here.
And my range of games and what I play is probably more versitile than what you consider to be your personal favorites.
From racing, strategy, FPS, and RPG's, I play them all. I buy each Madden title every year because I'm a die hard football fan. Resident Evil and Silent Hill are among my favorte series. The fact that you keep your mind closed to playing different sorts of titles clearly shows your bias.
And yes, Halo, as an FPS, is pretty lame. Most are. FPS games are generally the same thing different story. Or what you could "attempt" to call a story. The only thing Halo added at all that was "new" was the fact that your health recharged, which was a good addition, but nothing to make the game revolutionary by any means. Fear is a much better title than Halo and Halo 2, hell, IMO, Doom was more enjoyable than Halo, maybe that's just nostalgia speaking though.
But please, your bias runs deeper than an ocean, it's just worthless for you to post if all you want to do is entice arguement for fun's sake.
