I'll sorry I haven't updated things yet. I'm without internet at home right now and the open Wi-Fi nearby is too weak got online play. Also, my desktop PC isn't wireless-capable.

I'll try my best to have things ready for the new season this weekend.

    Another Random Idea.

In the path of creating a more rpg-ish touge community, I propose an overhaul of the Lots regular list.

I was thinking of making it a little more interactive with one's progress.

    I.E. Format

    Rival Name: Wynter92
    Handle: Starlight
    Team Affiliation: N/A
    Prefered Drivetrain: FF
    Preferred Battle Type: CMSD1
    Active Hours: 5-8PM (-5gmt)

    Rival Stats

    Stamina-**
    Cornering-***
    Throttle-**
    Braking-****

-Every five victories one has, one gets to allocate an additional star to his/her stats. (everyone starts with one in each discipline.)

-However, every five races you lose, you lose a star from your profile.

-The maximum one can have is 15 total. Maximum of 5 in each discipline.

-Of course this doesn't affect actual battles, but it is somewhat of a merit system to show off your prowess.

Dang. I'm really feeling that touge mood again, want to come back to LoTS. But the last time I came back, I barely had any time for the series because I was busy working all the time, and now I have very bad internet for the most part, not to mention still being a bit pressed for time. I wish you all the best though, as I know I've had some great moments out there racing you guys, even if I wasn't one of the regulars.

Maybe I'll sign up and just see if I can make it once a week for starters...

Well, I think we need a slight overhaul. The league is stagnating. We've been focusing on changing the regs, but that's not where the problem is.

The thread has been dismal than the Pre-Season of the LoTS class Purist, which I enjoy driving on Comfort Softs. I just don't see that many LoTS contenders at all, no new ones at all. I still support LoTS a bit. But it keeps getting heaps of hate sometimes.

The "hate" is all coming from the same direction.

Frankly, without course creator, it's difficult to keep things genuinely fresh. You could change regs all you want, but were still doing the same thing.

I'll always support the league in any manner I can. But there's nothing wrong with some downtime to try different things.

I've been binging on MGSV these past weeks. Also, I'm away from home [and my wheel] so i haven't been driving much because of that, more so than because of Metal Gear.

Why is there hate? There shouldn't be hate. From what I've seen, the hate isn't at the league. Members get discouraged because of so much negativity. There's too much ego going on with older members/ players. We are all equal here. No faces, just cars on a tv screen. We all want to have fun, so let's works towards that. It's not about being fastest, or the perfect win streak or the fastest touge car. Because at the end of the day, it's just data on a tv screen. We're all people playing the game to have fun, not ruin it for others or give up because of too much drama. If there's a problem in this league, I want to try to help as much as possible. But I can't do it by myself. We all must work together.

The fact of the matter is that the league has been plagued by negative propaganda from a certain egocentric individual, who I need not name, for you all know whom it is I speak of.

We've always been an open league, allowing anyone who has interest in our hobby to join us. But this certain someone has taken it upon themselves to defame our members, pit us against each other, brainwash prospective newcomers into believing that our league is under totalitarian rule, all the while promoting themselves as the savior of the colony.

    It's disgusting.

    -----

LotS was never about any of that.
We started out as a place for fans of Touge to convene and share experiences and have fun above all else. And I still believe that that is what we're about!!!

It would help much more if the community as a whole were more involved on the thread and actively participating and contributing, even if just with thoughts and suggestions, stories, anecdotes, anything!

    Hello everyone!

After some delegating with my fellow councilmen, we've decided to cancel this current Core Series Season until further notice.

The reason being the lack of participation.

This does not mean that LotS will be closing out or anything of that nature, but more of a break, as we've done in the past.

    -----

I will be hosting a Community Panel tonight in an open lobby with the aim of hearing from the community directly their thoughts on the league.

I will have some key questions ready, to ask you guys, about what you would like to see more/less of, what we - the council - can do to keep things fresh and interesting in the league for you guys, and other topics.

I'm welcoming you all to join me, and hopefully Wynter and CG could be there as well, and to ask us any questions you may have for us.

Being that SlenderMan has retired, we are switching things around again since we wont have his wisdom to guide us directly and we want to hear what our members have to say about the way things are running and how they'd like to be involved in the league.

The Lobby should be open no later than 9PM-EDT (GMT-4), I hope to see many of you there!!!

I hope it just uses your PSN ID though, but I guess I can use my old JakeH2750 acc. to create solid tracks this time around.

Has anyone made a touge track yet or base of one? Kind of curious what the touge tracks will look like. I'll get the App on my iPad soon.

Go on the community app within the game and you can see what others in your friends list have shared. There are a few unrefined tracks I got to test this morning before leaving for work.

As soon as the app is available for Android in America, I'll be making tracks using my brother's tablet.

I like that you can test drive a track straight from the Community front-end without having to save it first.

I'm so glad we finally got this! The perfect birthday present!!! (yes, it is my birthday today)

I'll be posting a news update here later today laying out the plans for LOTS. As you may know, Slender has retired so management is shifting around again.

I imagine this thread is going to be quite lively, thanks to PD allowing point-to-point tracks to be created using the Course Maker. ;) BTW, aside from recreating the mountain passes from Initial D, y'all should try the sample Andalusia race track they provided, it's quite nice.

Gentlemen after 2 years of waiting... Is this the last time I will pull my ps3 out of my storage? First time was when GT6 was released..

Side note, no custom elevation changes.. Do the templates provide enough elevation change?

My course is the epitome of touge. You can't really control elevation change but eifel is steep. Just need to make the best of reading the topography.
