Sure not all of the members there are pedos, but I hear it gets a good amount of them, and some pervs with animal.. you know. Why would I go there to look at 10 funny pictures and 1 disgusting one?
 
I think people go because the 10 funny pictures + hilarious posts and memes originating from there are worth ignoring the pics you don't want to see.

Question...what's with all the froth and the spatula? :confused: Not that I'm complaining about the lager, it makes a mockery of the 3% pish we used to get, but I couldn't work out why they didn't just tilt the glass so you don't get a massive head.

Yeah, that thing happened a lot to my AutoCAD 2010 too. When the ''Not responding'' message appears, I just drag it anywhere it it just creates the same thing all over the screen... Ruined my work! :mad:

Not sure? I used to work in a restaurant behind the bar. I had to tap beer as well of course and the rule here is a head that is two fingers thick. Now I know this can vary of course if you have FAT fingers for example, BUT thats the general rule here in bars and restaurants. So I guess that must be a region specific thing... :p

The froth is all about taste. A good head makes the drinking experience better. Dutch and German breweries spend fortunes on the froth development alone. Not sure about the spatula though. My guess is that it is a tradition for preventing getting froth on your nose. :dopey:

I completely agree that a beer with no head is pretty rubbish but when we went into an Irish pub (I know, typical Brit abroad) the barman asked us if we wanted it poured Amsterdam spatula style or English tilt style. Both resulted in the same head thickness and I can't remember tasting a difference but I guess that could be accounted to drinking Amsterdam beer in Amsterdam! I do remember wishing it was much closer to bed time when I stumbled out into the blinding light of a bracing January day!
 
^^^^ LOL It could also be that he wasnt very good at tapping. Because if a British person asked me to poor it with no head I'd just pour the beer all the way to the top, no froth. ;)
