Guess I'd better watch Furious 7 to catch up.

Yeah i don't know if i want to watch it, i've been telling myself that Furious 7 will be the last one since the ending was perfect and i don't think it will be the same without Paul Walker, but we'll see.

:indiff: No more buildings, please. After watching F7 2 weeks ago, I'm done.

The climax of the franchise was watching Jesse lose his dad's Jetta. Then losing his life. What could be more intense and horrible than losing your parent's car after a bet?

Seriously, me thinks FF jumped the shark after the first one. It was actually done well.

Already!? It's only out! Can't believe it'll only be 2 years til we get ANOTHER one.

I think FF7 is pretty much a grand finale.

You must know that, before Paul died, the studio wanted the FF to be released ANNUALLY. Not to mention the director change.

....So what will it be called? Fast 6 was used, current one is called Furious 7, so what next? FF8? Won't Square complain or something?

Oh I know; it's gonna be called... Faster 8!! And it won't totally clash with Tarantino's Hateful 8!! :D

Can't wait to see it. Sure the movies are far fetched with mediocre acting and questionable plot lines, but I don't care. They are great for mindless entertainment and rather enjoyable.

As most movies should be.

After watching the final scene of Fast 7 it was obvious there would have to be another one. The movie was far fetched and totally unbelievable...but so was Harry Potter and whole **** load of other entertaining movies.

If they make the climax in F8 as good as the mountain scene in F7 then i think it will be good. The climax in F7 was disappointing.

I agree.
Hollywood rule number one: if it makes money, it needs a sequel.
Same with games. BUT these days it becomes "If it makes money it needs a sequal, prequel, AND spin off".

Even if Fast 8 turns out to be even better than Furious 7, I get this nagging feeling that it just won't feel the same without Paul.

Nope I'm done I cashed my chips all in after FF7 and even if Walker hadn't died everyone at Universal tied to the movie from Justin Lin and so on were saying 7 would be the last. It wasn't until recently that they decided otherwise due to the massive amounts of money six made and obviously even more so with 7.

Here's where Universal is having brain fade. The two lowest grossing movies from them where 2 and 3 and why is this the case? Because they didn't have critical actors that the fans had wanted to see and had felt were what made Fast and the Furious. I mean come on Universal you just built a family esque story about a band of thieving heroes for the past 15 years and a critical one is gone and you want to keep going...

Faster and More Furious would be the grammatically-correct title.
Mhm, but why bother being grammatically correct when cars spit blue flames? :p

(Not to mention floorboards popping out and flinging loose nuts and bolts.)
