Gamesta,
WRP001 and I had tried to get on the same team, but there weren't two cars available when I signed up.
I'll check with him asap, but could you hold either the ARTA, or Takata NSX's for a day or so?
I'm guessing they are both available, but if I missed a driver somewhere, it's cool.
Hydro -- OK, let's go with the ARTA NSX and when bluesix races he can have the Takata... or maybe we should give him a Yugo NSX so we have a chance to win.

Gamesta you can officially swap cars for us. I feel bad about leaving Terrible1Fi in the lurch, but since he decided to bail on the race today... not too bad. If he was DC'd then I'm sorry, but I think a few people just quit on their own today which isn't going to do much for the team. E.g. DragonGT and KingBestJr would have had a great team result if King hadn't lost his cool there and quit.
Anyway, the Calsonic is an amazing machine... I hate to leave it, but I will do it to be on a team with Hydro. I would suggest that anyone who isn't happy with their car jump on the chance to drive it. Praiano has a great tune for it that I used and it's rock solid. 👍
thanks hydro, i was lucky to be that close after coming to complete stop on lap 1, made it a one stop race after that. remy was in the arta nsx and was just flying, had a nice little battle with kk for a few laps as well, but just tried to keep my nose out of trouble.
Great drive Dragon. Your tire preservation was amazing. Really your tires were not much more worn at lap 35 than the rest of us on 2 stop strategies. I was gaining on you, but just about 1 second a lap which wasn't nearly enough give I was almost 30 behind! On 17 laps I would have been running 1'41+ easy and you were running 1'38-1'39 which is awesome on such old tires.
Too bad I completely and utterly mucked up the first turn of the race... thankfully I didn't touch or involve anyone else. Nice to start on the front row and leave the first corner in last place.

I was looking in my mirror and more worried about kk than I was about turn 1 and I completely missed the brake zone. Into the kitty litter and spun once getting out for good measure. Came out about 16-17 seconds behind in 13th and had fun going through the field to 4th place. Without the turn 1 debacle I *might* have made it close for 3rd, but the times bluesix was running were out of my range for sure. Several mid 1'35s during the race (I don't think draft assisted)... i only saw one of those laps the entire week of practice and it was a 1'35.9 on low fuel.
I must say going through a lot of the field and also lapping a few guys at the end there, everyone I drove around was pretty respectful. I know there were lots of incidents and I almost caused a big one on turn 1 myself, but I think the group has potential for good racing all season. A 5 second difference in lap speed is a challenge though from fastest to slowest drivers... As long as the slower drivers run predictable lines it's fine, but if they are leaving track, spinning or just using random braking zones it gets very nerve racking while lapping/passing. I didn't really see much of this today myself, but saw some on replay.
Suzuka should provide quite a challenge as there are fewer runoffs to recover from mistakes.
Good luck to whoever gets the great Calsonic! 👍
