You said that you've done a full race simulation? whats the info on tyre wear?

Yep I sure did . Tyre info would be lower wear than Fuji but longer distance so i'm quite certain of 2 stops.

Btw , fuel is an issue ..... ( Big Hint .... )

ya definately not gonna go the whole distance without fuel, and then if you only wanna stop once how much time you gonna lose in the pits trying to get the right amount of fuel in one stop vs just making 2 quicker stops? hmmm.... what to do haha. race will just have to unfold.

oh got my best lap down to low 156s, may have to tune a lil for better tire wear etc. but i know i could do a 2 stopper no prob, i feel if i want to run 153s gonna stop like 3 times at least or the latter laps will suck burning tires off, unless you got some amazing tune to run that fast and have good tire wear.

Yep , it's gonna be very strategical on Sunday. I've already got my pitstop laps memorised & how much fuel I need for optimal running which is good. I hope I don't run out on the line... :lol:

I'm close to a good relative pace here , within a second of most peoples times I think. I'm aiming to go one better on Sunday and finish 6th , but thats very hard to guess at this stage. ;)

No Problem, I haven't tested at all since Monday and I was Running 1:59.xxx as my fastest.
 
This is the penalties issued list this is non negotiable. I do ask please do not get frustrated at points lost as the can be easily made up in the next couple of races. All the rest of the incidents I have deemed as Racing Incidents or were unavoidable.

Yudha Aggressive Driveing Blue Flag Infraction - 15 points
Karolisnaste Aggressive driving -10 points
Killa_Kandy Aggressive driving -10 points

First race nerves caught a few guys out I think , i'm sure we'll all be more relaxed at Suzuka. 👍

C'mon Team Lexus ! Let's go for it boys & get some good points this weekend. 👍

I think Team Lexus is 5th Gamesta if the team board is run purely on a points total ........ 👍👍👍

no way! I keep doing mistakes somewhere in the lap when Im on a really hot one and I mess it up...The fastest i've managed was a 1:56:626 and I F'd up the last corner by getting two wheels on the gravel which cost me 3 tenths off sector two...Its extremely difficult to put all my fastest sectors together in one lap...

My best lap is a 1:56.9XX, but that was on 3/4 tank after a stop for fresh tires. On a full tank I'm in the low 1:57s for my best. I haven't touched the car since Tuesday due to other commitments and I haven't even optimized the gears to Suzuka yet (they are on Fuji settings) so I think I can run high 1:56s with a full tank and warm/fresh tires, but I don't see taking that speed into a race as it's just too dangerous on this track with the sand ready to grab you for being one inch off track. That's more of a quali lap goal... if I don't run 1:56.X during quali it's because I choked :lol:

Actually, I've done pretty well in quali this season between the practice races and the first race. My big problem has been the first lap (really first few turns) of the race... gotta work on that. I guess that's what happens when you cut your teeth driving time trials. This is actually my first racing series *ever* so I expect to improve as we get a little deeper into the season.

@Gamesta, you never gave Remy_K his one point for pole. Not that he needs it. For team points Motul Autech should have 30 (60-30).

Yeah I have been mulling over what to do with the teams all night lol


Ok, For teams as there is only 12 of us right now I will make three seperate teams.


Team Nissan will consisit of the Yellowhat/Calsonic Drivers
Team Nismo will Consist of the Xanavi and Autech Drivers
Team Lexus/Honda will consist of the Lexus and Honda Drivers

So this makes three teams of 4 let me know what you guys think.

NOTE: 1'56.508 is my best lap to date @ Suzuka on 2/3 tank of gas w/fresh tires. I was slower by 0.264 through sector 1 on that lap so for me 1'56.25 is "theoretically" possible although it takes a near perfect lap and less than a full tank of fuel. Had a short practice session today and KK joined pushing me to this lap to keep up 👍

I just beat your time by a couple hundredths...I always always stuff up the last corner by getting wheels on the gravel...I was sooo P'd of when that happened...Qualifying should be fun tomorrow..👍
 
So tomorrow , if i've got my times correct , free practice is 10am EST / UK = +5 so 3PM UK BST & qualifying is 11AM EST / UK = +5 4pm UK BST .......

Hope i've got that right , I don't want to be late lol.

* Edit * - The final chicane. 2 wheels must remain on the race track at all times , I hope this is observed in the race tomorrow as it will be an advantage to just straightline it? And will this rule be enforced ?
