Yes see you all on the Track tomorrow at 10am EST.

The 606 pp Cap is to help ensure no mechanical upgrades are put on to the cars (engine stage 3 turbo's etc). Thru my testing of all the Super GT cars 606pp is the maximum any the cars can reach within the 502 BHP 1100kgs limits. The HP weight limits are in place to keep the cars performances close to each other but certain cars will be stronger on certain tracks etc...

chassis reinforcement is not allowed correct?? only thing i bought for car were racing mediums, running 1 37 3 best lap, might be able to get a lil more out of it but then i'll be tearing up tires.
 
20 Mins until The Room for the Practice/Test session.

No Upgrades are allowed except Chassis and Engine Rebuild at GT auto and an Oil Change. I will allow Chassis Reinforcement as well.

@TCJ I will set you down as a reserve driver.

We are doing some practice starts (1 lap races ) about 3 of them in 20 mins then a 20 Min qualify for Race 1 at Fuji

had fun racing really, had a rough start at fuji, but will evolve from that, hopefully we can all hold are lines a lil better as not to run somebody off the track.

hydro that first turn at fuji i swear i broke way early and the screen froze for a split second or it was my pedal but my brake didn't respond for a split second, had no where to go as i was already inside you and was only that low cuz killa threw me off and thought he was blocking me on straight.

I was so surprised when I saw you in the rear view, and I was thinking "holy he's coming in fast!" :crazy:

We all need to just be really careful with brake zones, and lines. Not every corner can be taken 2 wide.
I was completely thrown off by draft in/out a few times, and I had to brake really early at times, just to be safe, but sometimes still not early enough :(

As gamesta said too... you don't win the race in the first corner / lap. But you can very easily lose the race there, and someone else's as well. K, I added a bit:lol:
I think all of my races got a lap 1 pitstop :(
 
Practice will make perfect that is why I hold these test sessions so that we can get used to each others driving styles before the First official Race. I will have a post after I watch the replay's from today what we will need to work on. I for one need to account for understeer as I found out the hard what happens if I don't.
 
I found the car started to understeer a lot (versus before today) after adding the chassis reinforcment this morning.
Need to re-tune :)
 
ya after that first turn inncident i was just so upset i did that i just pulled off track, i pitted and stayed pace with the leader for the rest of the race until i caught karol in the lexus and was holding my line on the outside and got put off the track by him, but just nice knowing i can at least run a decent pace

I don't believe we are allowed to perform chassis reinforcement.

Gamestaa- I really think that we should have ballast penalties since it would stop runaway leaders...I dont think tire penalties are the way forward simply because they're simply downright slower...Difference in Medium and Hard are not 2 seconds..Today I had a pole time in suzuka of 1:56:xxx...with the same specs in Soft Tires I am doing 1:53's in Suzuka...DragonGT83 can back me on this as we had a session yesterday for my Series..

Top 3-5 had a nice clean start at Suzuka... Then I caught grass with left tires in middle of S and spun into whoever was behind. Wasn't driving aggressive or trying a crazy pass, just driver error. Sorry I got someone else caught up in it.

We will get the kinks worked out with the starts over the next couple weeks and racing seems reasonable once we get a little space.

One thing is... Wish people would just get in line lap 1. I slowed behind 1 and 2 at Fuji to slot in 3rd and about 3 cars dive bombed me into corner (turn 3 left). Better off to try and set the driver up for pass on exit if you are faster. But if they quali ahead of you there should be some respect at the start for that position unless driver makes a mistake. If you are faster you'll get your chance to pass in draft too... Or just do better in quali if you want to kead lap 1!! My goal in lap 1 is just to hold position and survive first 4-6 turns until tire warms... At that point if you can start to pressure driver in front go for it or drive smooth save tires and use draft next opp.
