That's a great tool, too bad GT4 doesn't give you the tire sizes, and it's a pain in the arse to search for those values in the net.

I've arranged something like that in Excel/Openoffice with my car's gearing and power chart coupled together, but I don't know how to matematically calculate the best shifting points to maximize acceleration. Maybe someone here can help me out? Check out the attachment.

well, the second graph you posted is exactly what you need... and it appears you should take it to redline in every gear except 4th
