Getting the Red Bull X1!

Im having some trouble with GT5, and all I really want is to enjoy the game in a high speed car, so if anyone knows how to dupe or has an extra X1 that they could give me, I would be delighted! Thanks! :D
 
Get to level 30... I got GT5 since launch date, and I haven´t got the car yet, but since I´m doing it the honest way, I will sure enjoy it the best. I´ve been in level 29 and a half since a couple of weeks now. I´m pretty close.

Alot of creds to you for doing that, but Im not really a big driving games guy. The X1 looks awesome to drive, so maybe by getting it early, Ill get more into it :)
 
Easiest way is to go and get the bronze times, come on they are like 15-20seconds slower than getting gold, stop slacking.
 
No disrespect intended, but if you can't bronze the new "challenge" you aren't ready for the car.

You won't enjoy the X2010 car- the car is NOT a pleasure to drive. You'll be off the track on every other corner, every lap. Find yourself something nice like the Sauber Mercedes C9 race car, Bentley Speed 8, etc. that's the sweet spot of racing.

Compared to the race cars, the Formula cars like the FGT really keep you on the edge for the whole race. This may or may not be considered a "pleasure." But the X2010 is like this but 3 times more, and I'm not exaggerating at all.

If he's not lvl30 then he doesnt really need the car, the X1 is an insane machine, he is not going to "enjoy the game" by racing with that car, he is going to spend his time crashing into walls every corner.

You can get lvl30 in B-spec or A-spec to unlock the Vettel challenges, getting bronze since this patch is now easy, but will require you to learn the car a little bit (which will be needed if you plan to actually race the thing)


Imagine the fastest and hardest car you ever drove in a game, now forget about that because its slow and easy to drive compared to the X1, the thing is stupid.
 
I've been chipping away at the new challenge, but I still don't like it. The X1 really isn't "enjoyable" to drive. It IS impressive, and great for grinding, but I don't use it much otherwise. I just want to bronze the challenge and get my trophy.

So so so SOOOOOOOO true.

It requires the absolute limits of your talents, all the time. You'll honestly get mental fatigue after a few laps of the ring with that damn thing.

Easyest way would be to add my 2nd account and I'll give you a carbon, make sure you send me a pm when you do so I can send it straight to ya.
 
Are you guys using a wheel? I think the x1 is a waist of time with the ds3. I have a dfgt and love driving the x1. It is a beast but once you get used to driving it, it is fun. In my opinion anyway. I got all bronze I'm the challenge with ease but haven't pushed for silver or gold.

Op if you want any car, go to market place, you can get an x1 easily.
 
That being said, I wouldnt do an endure in it. 10 or 15 laps is about my limit. A great car that is fun is the manolta. Great speed and handling

Are you comfortable with the FGT?

If not, the X2010 will be useless.

Yeah, reaching B-spec level 35 is the easiest way to earn the X1.

Agree, i reached a spec lvl 30 and found that i am never able to get thru' the x1 challenge, so i spent another month on b spec, i am now lvl 33, should be able to get red bull within days! YEAH!

The challenge's gotten easier with the new update.
People are getting Gold with a DS3.

The Gold and Silver times weren't touched, just the Bronze, people are starting to do Golds because are training alot and improving.

It actually helps a lot. I've bronzed the X challenge yesterday with a DS3.
My settings were full aids except for TC (0) and ABS (1), controller sensitivity on 7. The Ring was an absolute b**ch, Monza and Suzuka were for that matter
very easy :) Could have almost managed silver on Suzuka, got short about 0,5 sec. Just keep trying, you'll manage!
 
Got to agree with alot of ppl here, the car is insane, really takes it out of you! I use a DS3 and managed to Bronze the Vettel challenges over the weekend, got my X2010 and played online with some friends for abit... we did 5 laps of de la Sarthe and it almost killed me lol

I didn't touch any of the settings!

Its great for getting through B-Spec though!

As others have said, you'll probably hate the X2010. Therefore I recommend getting one from the marketplace because if you actually work to earn one, you'll be very disappointed. I know how to drive most cars, but the X2010 demands a totally new approach to driving if you want to be quick in it (relatively speaking, of course).
