Well, from being here quite a while now, and seeing you (tercel_driver) move from being on the GT3 forum often, to temporarily leaving, to coming back and spending some time in the Rumble Strip, I've noticed that one thing stands out:
Waaay back in the days when I first joined, I noticed that you tended to like to start flame wars in the GT3 forum; obviously, this put you in a bad position with many members, who saw you as someone who would blow up as easily as a freshly pulled grenade.
Now, in more recent times, you've calmed down a significant amount, but because some members remembered your past, they might've held on to a few grudges, and making threads like this certainly doesn't help.
However, that's only part of the story... some other members have been ridiculing you for the exact reason that milefile noted: you're "hypersensitive." When people who didn't know you from the GT3 forum poked a little fun at you, you'd go ballistic on them, thinking that they were serious. And that's the underlining problem... you tend to take things too seriously, and go off on weird rants, so members' respect for you plummets dramatically, and it all cumitively builds up until the point where you are at right now, where a lot of things you say tends to get scrutinized.
So, start out by trying to be more friendly, helpful, and forgiving.
Granted, because of your current conditions, it most likely will be some time before you earn back respect, but it'll be more than worth it.
Also, two important tips to keep in mind: Make a valid effort to use proper grammar and spelling in your posts (if you want the honest truth, your grammar usage tends to be on the horrible side), and secondly, do not argue about trivial things and try to avoid to point out people's faults.
There ya go. Good luck!![]()
Funny how this is brought up about Theresa. . . I think there is more hate towards Theresa, then I would ever wish my worst enemy. It is ashame, because Theresa actually could be some smart dude, wasting his/her/its life away because of hate he has brewed in his/her/its own delusion of reality. What a waste of space, body, mind and soul. Theresa will end up being one of those Suicide bombers because he,she,it probably thinks that dying for a cause of hate is better then trying to make peace with this world. . .Originally posted by milefile
