God of war

try gamefaqs.com, theres allot of threads about the game. No one has made any posts about it here but from the reviews its another PS2 A+ game.
 
I went to Blockbuster yesterday however they were out of the game, it looks really good and I really want to play it.
 
I keep seeing reviews about it and hearing from them how its so good, but no one i kno actually has the game. And that suprises me since its got such a crazy storyline.

I just saw a commerical for it on TV and it looks really cool, I might just go out and buy it tomarrow.
 
It took 4 years to make, games like this usually dont take that long but there was little to no hype about this game unlike others that took this long. I first read about it Game informer a year ago.
 
I bought this game 3 days ago and it's simply awesome.You play as Kratos,a Spartan warrior and you are sent to Athens by Athena herself to kill the God of War Ares(and other mythological creatures along the way) who is wrecking havoc on the city.The gameplay is very well done,excellent controls,awesome moves with some very brutal fatalities and uhm very fun minigames if you know what i mean.

The graphics are beautifull,the levels are very well done,the creatures look excellent and the list goes on.The music in this game is excellent and really fits the theme of the game.

What else can i say,go get this game.It's one of the best games for the PS2.
 
I just rented it. Gonna give it a try even though im not of fan of these types of games. I just like to support my Ps2.
 
I guess this is Playstation's Ninja Gaiden, I'm looking forward to this game. Video's I saw of it look amazing. Beautiful graphics of which I didn't know my PS2 was capable of.

all action gamers need to buy it ASAP.

I still prefer DMC3, but damn, I had no idea this one would be this good. 👍
 
Wow the first boss felt like a final boss. Imagine God of war on PS3. Maybe then the blood will stay on his boddy and get some kinda bonus for the amount of blood you get covered in :). Eh maybe Manhunt 2.

We will most definately see God of War 2 on PS3, since the director already mentions a sequel. Right now I´m buzy trying to get my hands on the first one. :)
 
The game is really fun and smooth. When the actual game first started I thought it was still playing the intro FMV, so I just sat there and watched my character get beat... then I realized I can move and fight :p

In our office, EVERYONE has been playing GoW. A few guys went out and bought PS2s just to play this one game.

The bosses are amazing. The graphics are gorgeous. You feel totally like a totally powerful dude from the get go. And it just gets better.

I work for a smaller console game developer (I'm a programmer). It's not as much fun as you'd think, but the people I work with are awesome.
 
I couldn't imagine programming or developing any game being fun, Heck even game testers dont really have fun doing what seems like a fun job. Mmm Britney's Dance beat bug testing must have been a riot.

I just beat Medussa(or however its spelled)
 
Wow, this game really does have it all then. Awesome. Now, if it weren't for my stupid PS2 at Sony's repair center in San Diego, I'd go pick up a copy of this game.
