Wow. Skyline poetry. Everyone check this out! Maybe i'll write some poetry too. I'll call it “Ode the the Viper”
Actually, it's license test frustration poetry. If the test had used a different car, that's what would have been in the poem.

By the way, young readers, it's structurally based on the Twenty-Third Psalm from the Bible. Sort of a parody, but without satirical intent.

Okay, I suppose you could say I was satirizing myself, by implicitly comparing my struggles in a little game to those of King David.

But no, really, it just grew out of that stretch of Trial Mountain reminding me of "the valley of the shadow of death" from that Psalm.

Perhaps see the following, but be warned of popup advertising... (grr....)

I think I'll go with GT2 because of the more assortment of cars, how could GT1 possibly have better graphics then GT2?
You made a smart choice, even though both games are really good. GT2 I think is a little better improvement graphic-wise than GT1. 👍

sure... I think GT2 is the better choice. I like it for the more realistic physics, as compare GT1. The graphics IMO are better too. The GT1 graphic may be smoother, but the detailing is crappier. And I have beef with its physics engine, like WTF, 0-60 stock Z28 is like 3.xxx. It has variety of cars. The engine noise, although sometimes gay, have variants that will satisfy the ear of the driver, unlike GT1s notorious re-using of the same exhaust note on many cars. GT2 is more realistic, and thats maybe all that I car for, plus the nicer engine noises.[can you say HEMI?!? hehehe.]

You should write one for that Gt1 deep forest test (the one with the del Sol). I did that several hundred times in a row literally before I got a gold medal. (Put on some music and did it over and over again to keep from getting frustrated.)

Another one is the I-C or I-B license test with the Viper..the one where you try to go down the corkscrew.

The developers decided that a compromise in graphics would be worth adding more cars and tracks?

I find that some of the new tracks added in GT2--Rome and Seattle in particular, while they do have more detailed scenery, suffer from a cartoonish two-dimensional quality. When you go around some corners there, the graphics don't give you a good feel for where you are, or more importanly, where you will be a split-second later, and so you need to learn tracks by trial-and-error more than you did with the original GT1 tracks.

Look, even professional writers don't respond well to "you should create this", and I am not a professional writer. A muse appears and goes away outside the writer's control, and often contrary to need.

Edit: Alright, sorry, maybe I should have assumed "someone" when you said "you"; but note that elsewhere someone said they were going to write something else. Oh wait, that was you (Parnelli Bone) too. :)

Geez don't get so huffy. I'm just havin' a good time, my friend. :)

I personally think that GT1 was to Awesome in it's Debut not to want GT2, I really like them both a lot! The one's I don't like are GTC 2001 because of the lak of gameplay and Cars, I also dislike GT4 Prologue because it's just a major tease and should of been giving to us free for purchasing a Pizza or because of countless Delays of the full version, I like all the others though!
