and finally if you haven't seen it yet here's the full May update short:

Thanks for your continued support, I think there's should be some pretty fun stuff coming before the end of the month!

Don't mean to be pedantic but that Deville image is for a 2000-2005 model, should be this one instead:

Y’all are killin’ me. That’s awesome my car(NB mx-5) made the roster. Can’t help to think you all are hiding some poverty pack(base trim) Australian makes.

Nothing Australian on the list I'm afraid, focus is primarily on America, Western Europe and Japan like the base game although we do have some Korean and Swedish cars in

I love these! I don't think we will, I know the pricing on the buyable cars and they don't even come close to 50k sell price on the 25% of value selling price. Obviously the economy of the game is going to be overhauled to account for you having no 2 Million Credit cars to buy.

Nope, once it became clear we was going all in on a total conversion as opposed to just adding cars, any thoughts of race cars completely went out the window.

Accessible in arcade only with the rally cars, because it'll have no function in Gran Turismo mode dirt tires will not be available for Beige vehicles. Honestly the pictures at rally tracks are more for different scenery then anything else.

More news on events will come when I've got more to show!

Soundtrack isn't instrumentals, I can't speak too much on the opening movie considering it'll likely be a victory lap once the project is done but it'll be good!

Acura SL-X was the first car on the actual added list, I've done a bit of a reccy on what was cut from the list recently so I'll have a gander through what was on that first batch of cars.

Update coming shortly, I think this month is going to be America heavy (literally in some cases) so look forward to what's coming!
Thats cool.

Truly spectacular selection!! Once again I had no idea many of these cars existed!! Massive props to everyone who work on the mod and especially you The Real Emil!!

Yes, the flunk is a Honda Integra Super Style Coupe? :D
I admit the Impreza selection and a lot of the Minivans are very new to me! ^^ Actually, 95% of the cars in this selection are!

Most of the minivans i've always known about to some degree

But yes many of the Imprezas are very much new to me, especially the flushgrill ones since i've known them for a day or three at the time

For one, Lantra is new to me though, of course i knew of the Elantra but not the Lantra

Hey couldn't be possible without the the great team we have, I'm just the planner so the props are absolutely more to Nathan, NoisyDean and TTDriver for the models in the video!

I want to say they are one and the same, for whatever reason it lost the E in some markets

It was the Lantra in the UK at least for the first two generations, then the name changed to match the Korean market Elantra for the third gen in the 2000s.
Ironically the follow up to that, got changed to i40 for the gen after iirc

Similar to one of my first question sprees on the thread, just asking random cars and nothing else
Again, i remember, no requests, just checking if any of these got in your book! ;)

- Will there be any Carinas of any variety? I heard that the Corollas and Camry's are coming, so why not complete the trifecta of Toyota saloons?

- Would the USDM Ford Escorts/Mercury Tracers make an appearance? Like the ZX2 for example, feels like those would be a fair opponent to the '99 Cavaliers in the mod

- Speaking of American-market Ford, would Merkur make an appearance?

- Will there be any old Subaru passanger vehicles? Like the Leone for instance, which the Isuzu-badged Geminett II could also be produced out of.

- Will there be the American fleet specials? Think the GM L-bodies, J-bodies, Chrysler K-cars, i think those would be considered malaise, so i won't count too much on those

- Will there be more Mazda rebadges? Mazda badged a lot of Suzukis and several others at the time, we did get a repersentative of the group with the AZ-Wagon (Wagon R rebadge), but will we get stuff like the Scrum van, AZ-Offroad, Proceed Levante, and etc.?

- Just a statement, no harsh feelings, but even if i knew that the A-Spec carryovers were only limited to the EV1 and the Insight, there's genuinely a lot more newcomers that fits the roles, like the Subaru Rex, Datsun Cherry, Fiat 124, and is there any more i missed?

- Would there be more older Honda subcompacts? (i.e. the City or Today)

- Would there be older VWs (like Mk.III-I old, even including stuff like wagons or convertibles)

- Another statement, but the way the dealers have been revamped, having the demo-styled promotional image thumbnails rather than the orange things, really incentivises you to check out what's bumping in the dealers, as it wasn't apparent what the models look like without you looking inside, and the orange previews can look a bit inconsistent at time between models and dealers

Like always and always, thanks! :D

There's a Carina, more on that when it comes around

No, none of the American Escorts. Mostly to cut down on confusion but also partly because it'd make another upcoming car irrelevant. The ZX2 was an early cut and would have been more of a rival to the Neon's had it stayed on
- Speaking of American-market Ford, would Merkur make an appearance?
No, Merkur while personally quite fascinating. You'd get much more millage out of the European Ford equivalents considering Merkur was generally just the top spec Scorpio/Granada and Sierra respectively.
- Will there be any old Subaru passanger vehicles? Like the Leone for instance, which the Isuzu-badged Geminett II could also be produced out of.
I mean technically the Impreza's and the Young. There is a few more retrims destined for Subaru and one more older car, it's not what you are expecting
- Will there be the American fleet specials? Think the GM L-bodies, J-bodies, Chrysler K-cars, i think those would be considered malaise, so i won't count too much on those
No, those are too easy
- Will there be more Mazda rebadges? Mazda badged a lot of Suzukis and several others at the time, we did get a repersentative of the group with the AZ-Wagon (Wagon R rebadge), but will we get stuff like the Scrum van, AZ-Offroad, Proceed Levante, and etc.?
There's a few more but not all of them

The Insight and EV1 are the only carryovers (unless I'm brain fogging one) there's a few that would in theory fit more here but I wasn't interested in taking too much from A-Spec. The two carryover cars would have been in the mod regardless on if they featured in A-Spec prior
- Would there be more older Honda subcompacts? (i.e. the City or Today)
There's more Honda's coming but neither of those two. A '98 Today is on the cutting floor (mainly because the Life exists) and the City from 1999 looks incredibly similar to the Civic of the time
- Would there be older VWs (like Mk.III-I old, even including stuff like wagons or convertibles)
No, unfortunately you can't feature everything and that's one of those that didn't make it. As said prior the older used cars are for the most part the final things that were added to the list
Yeah, to be honest a big driver on the decision is how difficult it is to reproduce those (Look at other mods that have tried and it never looks right with angles, contrast etc) and the base game ones aren't even that good. I think it's the Ford Focus that has no wheels and there's another car that has a super jacked up ride height

Thanks!

That's exactly what i meant! Even some of the vanilla ones look off compared to others, the look your going with is really the way to go in my opinion

You've seen anything logo wise in Nathan's video, this is probably it for this month so the short follows next week.

Thanks for your continued support!

I mean, you did say you don't wanna do too much malaise, but hey, that dosen't mean you don't wanna do any malaise at all......

Yeah, these have been on the list since day 1 as I've always loved the Pacer and Pinto. There's a few others but yeah in general if you start getting out of economy cars and into the mid size and full size American cars of the day it becomes far too easy. Same reason you won't see Talbot's in this mod because at that point you could just add full line ups and it's far too easy.

Also, here's a compliment to the team:

You guys did a better job at the GT2 custom model business, than everybody else.

Really, not to put down certain names, but every time i see everyone else make custom models for the game, they always look off. Especially the texturework, the textures sometimes look to flat and undetailed, and sometimes the models look too, i don't know, they just don't fit as well as the ones you guys make over the course of this mod and even stuff like A-Spec to stretch.

Especially now, you guys even decided to rival Polyphony themselves at their game! You guys remastered some of the models they made back in the day and still able to make them slot in to the game and fit with the others, it's mind-blowing!

Gd'job boys-! Keep it up! :)
