Toyota MR2? I used to have a racing version of it, I don't know anymore.

Yes, any Toyota MR2. I so would like to drift with it, but I have a hard time coming up with a tune as I don't drift much with mid engine.

RX7 Spirit R Type A (FD) 02

Brief Description:

Fun and addictive to drift around any course your willing to find the "line" on. G27 or Controller can be used . I have been asked to join teams, gotten compliments online, asked to share settings etc. If you need a controllable drifter then don't expect this car to be it straight away (for most). It is however capable of close precision drifting (easy tandem after practice)

WARNING: Car is loose and may seem like it is uncontrollable at first ( even in a straight line if your new to this). Technique is to brake evenly to move weight to the front, then push back out (handbrake or clutch) on entry and feather/countersteer it,

Upgrades:

Everything in tune shop maxxed out except turbo (get stage 2 turbo)
Aero parts & oil change in GT Auto
Tyres comfort hard (but it can drift with up to SH tyres too)

Settings:

Downforce: 15 (rear)
Ballast amount: 5
Ballast Position: -50

Power Limiter: 504 bhp (turn to 100% if your not beginner)

Transmission: Max speed 316km/h

LSD: (top to bottom)10, 40 20 or 37,34,34 (try them both if your learning)

SUSPENSION (front / rear)

Camber: 3.9 / 0.0
Toe Angle: -0.06 / 0.70

Ride Height: -15 / -14
Spring Rate: 8.4 / 6.3
Dampers Ext: 5 / 5
Dampers Com: 5 / 5
Anti Roll: 4 / 3

Brakes: 8 / 3.9

Hope you enjoy it as much as i do. PSN: klevrah:tup:

I used to drift one, so I could have a look to see if I still have it or not.

The OP of this thread should put some work into it and put links on the first post to all the tunes, just like the other settings depot... It's a headache to scroll through here everytime you wanna find a setting... And even then you not sure if it's here...

I'm really good at setting up cars for drifting... I can make a setup for you in a little while and post it here once it's done.

Is the G27 & G25 better for drifting than the Driving-Force GT? I'm thinking of buying the T500RS but I have no idea what that would be like for drifting.

So what shall I buy?

Thrustmaster: T500-RS

Logitech: G25

Logitech: G27

people say it is easyer to drift with a G25/G27 or T500-RS

For drifting with a G25/G27 without using the clutch, I would have to say that drifting would probably still feel the same. But for someone who hasn't used a gated shifter wheel before, or haven't driven a car using a clutch, the clutch pedal on the G25/G27 will only make things awkward, especially during e-braking. Same story for the T500-RS.

Oh, and if I could I would get a better wheel than my DFGT because it's starting to fall behind compared to some other wheels on the market.

Nope I don't see any advantage with G27

G27 is more accurate and doesn't wobble when in the X1 or when going from standstill to accelerating in a straight line. The wobble problem is a glitch with the DFGT.

What does any of this have to do with tuning? There are hundreds of threads to help you "decide for you", do you guys really need to spam the "Tuning Thread".

I think most of these setup need to be updated. Why? The physical has changed several times and must also specify whether or not is a online setup.

Yea..
Might post my Chaser Setup when it's perfect, if people are interested in it...
