I'm not a huge fan of ovals but all of those night races are beautiful. I'm expecting a ton of info at E3. If not, I think I'll manage. I'm still itching for the release date... grrrr.

Aren't we all? ;)

Thinking realistically I'll still be surprised if it makes a 2010 release.

To be honest, I'd be surprised if it didn't make a 2010 release globally. The game has surely gone beyond the point of introducing new features and potentially supporting gimmicks like 3D and Move. If I'm wrong, and that's not the case, then maybe 2011 is a possibility, but I highly doubt it.

Still, we might get the old "September 2010 for Japan" release announced, and nothing for the other regions! That would be so annoying!

Haha didn't think about that yet! Would be REALLY annoying indeed if they would only announce the Japan release date... But actually, I'm expecting a worldwide release just like gt psp.

And I'm really expecting a 2010 release date...
Almost sure actually. Enough signs to have confidence in that.

omg...
i really doesn't sleep at night....
can't wait...

absolutely not only japan release...
will be worldwide, i'm sure...

Has to be worldwide! Early October as gt psp

 i still remember when GT4 was released in Japan before the rest of the word and what it was like on here, the poor sods must have spent absolutely no time actually enjoying it and just ended up answering questions about it for us lot who had to wait 👍

It was fun, but i think i would rather a worldwide release this time around:dopey:

GT5 should follow the pattern laid down by GT PSP, a worldwide release within a short time of each other by region.

I agree. The wait would be unbearable, and the Japanese forum users would tease us . It's been over five years now so I really do think a world wide release seems fair and possible. Infact I'd even be happy if the Japanese got it a month before us.. but definitely no longer than a month.

Never know.. they might decide to release it in July. ;)👍

Comes to my mind when PD says that GT5 will release soon after GTPSP :scared:

Sorry for my english.

I'm no betting man, but I'm expecting a 2010 release with regions getting the game no more than 3 weeks apart.

I hope God hear you.

i m hoping worldwide release too.
at least there will be 2 or 3 weeks gap between regions
12 Days left.

I’m beginning to get all excited again. Just walked into JB’s a few hours ago, and they had the GT5 covers on display, with an ‘October 1st’ release date. I’m sure they are a reliable source. ;)

Anyhow, I hope they do not release too much information about the game in E3, apart from a release date. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be bothered if they only showed us footage from R246 again. I don’t want to see Premium damage, new cars, tracks, etc, until the game is released.

I don't want TOO much information neither..
Want to find out many things myself.
BUT... Tokyo again would be boring.
Although the most important thing for me stays A RELEASE DATE.
E3 can't be a success for me without a GT5 release date.

A clearer specification about cockpits and track count is welcome too.

Unless I hear a release date from Sony Computer Entertainment, PD, KY.. or announced at E3 by those sources then I don't believe it. JB is just a shop like EB, Game etc. But as said about them having signs up (I haven't noticed personally because I don't go there) but that's definitely a great sign.

And even then don´t believe it ;)

A world-wide release is now possible because of the delay in Japan. So, it's actually good we're still waiting. I bet the translations have been already completed.👍

I think the release date will be the biggest info at E3, along with a trailer that confirms weather, livery customization, roll-over, and a few other things. If patience has ever paid off, I think it'll be most obvious and rewarding in 12 days.

Subconsciously, whenever anybody writes "I think...", I automatically replace it with "I hope..." ;)

Perhaps, but I mixed some logic into my reasoning. Considering how long it's been since TGS 2009, considering how far along the game is (90-100%), considering it's E3, and considering that the game has been repeatedly said to release in 2010, "I think" is more like "I bet". :)

Well I bet I think I hope your right :)

I think I'm going to break a leg if I jump out of my apartment window.

Stop your subconscious! :dunce::scared::dopey:

that's just because in the context they mean the same thing. if people are certain of something they don't put "i think" or "i hope"

ps. i think there were 100 killed :(

This shirt is pink.

I "hope" everyone can stay on topic for more than 1 page...

I "think" it's unlikely...

This thread "is" going to be locked until after E3 if this continues.

Nail. Hammer. Head.

I think that's what we most want, (though I'd like other things, too.) Can you honestly imagine it not being given out? Talk about a heartbreaker.

It was until people began to talk about shirts (silly). People need personal infractions to learn, because the majority of posters have had intelligent comments! :) No?

No, it wasn't.

It veers off course more than my uncle Timothy "Big Bone" Thomas after a few too many Jameson's.

For those who haven't had the fortunate (or unfortunate depending on your point of view) luck to have met Mr. "Big Bone", that means a lot.

;)

Same could be said about last year. Everyone felt betrayed. I think with all of the fans hounding Soony after the TGS March 2010 malarkey they pulled they realized how bad we want this game and all these fake release dates with the intent to delay/postpone them is childish

That just goes to show you, that too little GT5 info mixed with too much anticipitory anxiety can be as intoxicating, as too many Jameson's.
