Anything new we know about E3 and GT5? or same o same o stories?

I want a fictional track to be the star of the demo at E3 2010. Trial Mountain, Deep Forest Raceway or even Apricot Hill Raceway.

Actually I like your idea! A good old Gran Turismo classic like Trial Mountain would be fantastic. I like your thinking! 👍:)

Nah, I wanna see the 'ring at night! SSR5 is so 90's. :p
 
Can't wait to see the new fantasy tracks.. I have a feeling that those will be really great this time.
 
I just want a release date. I don't care about all these features being anounced, since you can't use these features untill it is released.

I agree! I hope GT5 is the star of E3! Although I don't really want to much to be revealed...just a release date for sooner rather than later!:D:tup:

As much as we may think GT5 is a HUGE deal in America our perceptions are a bit skewed. GT has always been much bigger over seas.

Only in Europe. Gran Turismo sells better in America (US, Canada) than it does in the Orient. While Japan might have really warmed up to the game now, I still expect it to lag behind the US in sales.

As for the livery editor, I've been playing ModNation Racers lately, and it has a simpler paint shop than Forza 2 does. However, it has much of the same capability, using various vinyls and painting tools, including transparency and many layers per side of the car. It even lets you customize the driver to a huge extent, about as much as the cars! While the cars are cartoony, you can actually make a fetching, quite professional looking ride with the tools they give you in the game. And it's a darn fun game to boot! You owe it to yourselves to try out the free demo on the PS Store.

While it has the most amazing track editor I've ever seen, I'm not sure it has a bearing on one for GT5. But the livery and mod shop in MNR might just suggest what we'll see in a GT5 livery tool. However, if it's anything like the one in Forza 3, I may wet myself. The thought of being able to create any race car my imagination can conceive has me drooling.

Nascar runs at night many times in the season. Nascar runs at night at:
Daytona 500, All Star Race, Coca-cola 600 Charlotte, Subway fresh 600 Phoenix, Southern 500 Darlington, Richmond.
THAT`S pretty cool cuz the races start at the sunset and finish at night.
 
I've just thought of this. Would be great to see something about V8 Supercars in GT5 at E3. That Glenn Seton Falcon is a bit old now.

That too yes!! How amazing that would be. I've driven my very own car around the Mt Panorama circuit and it's truly an amazing track. Deserves to be in GT5.

P.S. There is a 60 km/h Speed limit as it's two-way traffic when not being used for racing :lol:, and yes, you can drive around it the wrong way.

All the more reason it should be in there. The Nurburgring Nordschlife was hard for all of us who didn't know it previously, and now heaps of us can drive that track on GT4 almost blindfolded. It's an iconic track and like Heath said, if you've ever driven around it in a normal car you can appreciate the efforts that V8 Supercar drivers put in to go around that circuit at high speed (ESPECIALLY THE DIPPER!!).

Gran Turismo PSP has been permanently reduced on PSN then from £24.99 to £14.99. Reckon this shows anything?

I have an overwhelmingly strong feeling that weather will finally be unveiled in the E3 trailer. I think it'll start out with rain, at night, with some classic 90's cars, (F50, F1, Diablo, EB110), on either a new track or a returning one.

I also see damage being a big part of the trailer, (roll over, perhaps?):)
 
it sounds like you are describing a horror movie scenario... all that could go wrong, the opening of a dark thriller ... :lol:

Probably just shows that it's not selling well at 25 pounds, I doubt it shows anything about GT5.

Haha.. I second that!! A timeless classic indeed. Going from what was showed in the GOW III Trailer that track looks amazing in GT5. It's going to be (for the fifth time in a row ;)) one of my favorites.

Yeah, I completely skipped GT4. I might buy it, but it's the summer right now. I should really be training for bicycle racing, not buying a great game.

I think I might just wait. Depends on the announcement we get shortly here. If they announce 2011, I might have to buy GT4. Still need to buy a wheel and such too.

focus on the bicycle racing, but when your done with that, Just try to find gt4 used.. Over here (In canada) gt4 is 5 dollars used..Thats less than if you were to rent a game at a video store,Its less money than I spend for food at the mall,
but even If they were to release the game in august (Highly unlikely, but just an example), I would still buy it (Im still looking for it too, local stores don't have it).. for 5 dollars I wouldn't care if the disk broke in two- a month after purchase.. Its still less money than a 7 day game rental :D

I'm not a huge fan of ovals but all of those night races are beautiful. I'm expecting a ton of info at E3. If not, I think I'll manage. I'm still itching for the release date... grrrr.
