I don't live in USA so I am rather confused too. Why can't we all use UTC instead of having 100 different time zones?

I believe there is around 7(8) time zones in the US alone, and that makes it a huge span in hours from sunrise from 1 place to another. Hence you need more than 1 timezone, otherwise we could just aswell make 1 global timezone :D would be easy, but also quite depressing when its 14.00 and dark outside all the time, and you need be at work and when you get off, get home and sun rises, you need to sleep :D

Yeah but he would be spoiled from numerous sites and comments. I have waited so long, i don't want to be spoiled:) I want to listen to Kaz (or Tretton) to announce the release date live!!! I want to see the trailer live!!!! I want to participate in the show of the year!!!!!!!!!!
 
Just for the side note... I think the text size for the headings on the opening post are rather big.
I need to stand 5 meters away from the monitor to actually read them. :sly:

Unless Sony changes the timing of their conference, the timesheet posted at the first page of this thread is accurate. (compensated to about any timezone/daylight savings around the world)👍

I have done it for many years, bookmark the press conference page before hand. Get up in the morning, open the link and watch. I never check the rest of the internet before checking it out for myself first.

The problem is that it says 11.30 am and doesn't clarify whether thats PST or PDT (1 hour difference)

Edit: However may I suggest SrRd RacinG removes "PST" from the first page as this could be indeed misleading. AFAIK, L.A. is PDT at the moment.

What's awesome about this E3 is that one of our own is heading there. Hopefully Sage can get some videos of the demo and give us his impressions. The coverage here will probably be insane.
 
How many of you would consider it a "spoiler" if they decided to show the official GT5 intro movie at E3? I don't think I'd want to see it prior to the release. I'd rather wait and surprise myself. I like surprises. :)

But, you are happy to visit these forums and read up on stuff and watch all of the gameplay videos?!

Personally I'd be happy to see it, because it would be low quality. Then I'd have a benchmark to compare the actual intro to on my own TV in full HD and go "ooh" and "aah" :lol:

I doubt they will show us the intro but even if the did i would not be spoiled
 
They can't show us the intro... Thats the thing I LOVE about Gran Turismo..

Also its the intro that I'm going to be crying to... It's real...

If you are the same time as Athens, the conference will start at 930 pm your time.
 
No Intro Spoiler please...

If anything, They will be showing a trailer that is different from the Intro.

Intro should be the reward to those who choose to buy the game... it should not be giving freely as such...

The Intro is not the Trailer. Period.


imagine they simply announce at E3 that GT5 is delayed until further notice in 2011.?! what would you guys do? Drop out??

or say, they announce that GT5 is cancelled due to unsufficient funding?! :sick:

We will get a trailer with the release date, which will also show a lot of classic GT tracks i.e. Midfield, Apricot, Trial Mountain, etc. We'll all be in this very thread breaking it down frame by frame, while waiting impatiently for the worldwide release date of September 3rd. :dopey:

(Of course I'm just guessing)
